    Facial hair only works for black hair colors pretty much, but can make the face much more masculine or evil looking if done right.

    If you move your eyebrows down closer to the eyeball and slant the eyes slightly towards the nose, it makes your character appear more menacing. A little less openness on the eye settings helps with this effect also.

    But yes, agreed on the above 100%. White is an okay hair color too, if you do it right ;)

    Oh and one more overlooked thing is lips. Don't make them too dark or it just looks like lipstick... try to stay slightly lighter than your skin shade towards the pink end of the circular spectrum.
