Couple of Questions about Level 60

1. For starters, I've been told how much easier coins come at higher levels. Some have stated this is due to mob DQ drops being priced higher. While I have noticed that I'm not as broke as I was like 10-15 levels ago, does the money situation actually get better at 60+?
2. Secondly, I can't wait to get to 60, but am noticing (obviously) how much longer it's taking to level. The biggest thing for a BM like me, are these mana sucking magic mobs that are pretty much the most annoying ever, and take 4 times longer to kill their numbers quota. How hard (as in annoying and time consuming) are my next few levels going to be before 60?
Did I mention I hate magic mobs? MAN

Levelling and quests don't change that much, the mobs just hit harder. You might hate the mermaids and spiders at 57 though, no one likes those.
The money situation improves every lvl. While the DQ's going up in price are a reason, the actual reason is the time spent on grinding. At the earlier levels, you don't grind much, so you don't get a lot of drops. At higher lvls, the drops really start racking up as you take so long to grind. Try grinding 50% at your lvl at Foxwing Supremes. I guarantee you'll have more than 100 Flexible Sinews, which equals more than 250,000 coins.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

ya it does get harder and if ur a barb the money issues get a little hairy at times...get 5k from drops, spend 30k in repairs lol but i keep my dq's so theres about 2mil sitting around.
quest wise, me and my friends are at lvl 64 and we had 4 quests this lvl which put us to about 33% and its all grinding the rest of the way.0 -
I don't think it gets any better. At lvl 7x, i am poor as hell. Between everything thats going on, i can't seem to manage to find time to grind. Am about 4 lvl behind in quests, and no i don't zhen.0

ya were always trying to help with peoples fb's cause its a fairly easy 5% and we've started doing TT runs which isnt bad but still pretty rough on money, only time money issues arent bad is if ya get a mold from a fb thats worth a lot. i.e. i got a wheel of fate molde from the fb39,made it and sold it on the autioneer for like 2.5mil so it helped for a bit.0

i dont do fb's for the money, i do them for exp, if i did fb's for money id be broke as a joke by now lol0

The reason they say if you're broke, not to do FBs, is because if you earned say 25k XP on an FB, that comes with no money. Now grind 25k instead of doing that FB, and you've made 50k in DQ drops. So rather then levelling thru FBs, if you did it thru grinding, you turn out alot more money.0
-
58 and 59 are deffinitely the hardest levels up to that point. You really have to pure grind like 90% of both of them.0

FB's are the most efficient xp-wise; grinding is the most efficient money-wise.
And then there's Zhen parties...0 -
And conversely there are HH runs, which are very profitable, but you get very little exp.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

grinding is waaaaaaay faster than fb's.. even if you can find a constant stream of tab holders0 -
not sure if grindin is actualli faster than the fbs but grindin is definitely more boring to me, it puts me to sleep. even tried the zhen party once, i fell asleep doing it. so i'll choose fb over grinding for now, till i get sick of them.b:victory0

And yet with FBs come rep as well, and some of the higher rank armor is extremely nice.I am the biggest hypocrit you will ever see or hear, and I'm not afraid to admit it.

Rank 8 armor also requires 200k rep. It would take an insane amount of time to get to that rep from just fb's and i'm not even sure if its possible with the low amount of fb's available. Basically for rank 8 you need to get rep from farming signets in fb89, which has been nerfed for some reason, or spend thousands on wedding candies from the cash shop.. level for rank 8 is 100 too.0 -
ya thats one thing i think they should work on...lowering the rep amounts cause im 67 and the rep for the lvl 60 armor is like 5k and i just hit 2500 the other day cause 2 rep from killing 60 heathens isnt exactly worth it sometimes lol.0

Grind grind grind , for reason i actually like grinding,
Im a sick person.
But the money situation is doing pretty good for me.
hourly dq's being sold and stuff i made like 500k the other day grinding 6 hours or so.
thats after i minus out the cost of repair and a bit of pots.
I've given up on rank anything
and the magic isnt too bad honestly just stun em if you can before they get em off.
Also , grind for a day and use the money you make to buy a Gold Gcharm, grind and repeat as Gcharm empties out.
USE DIAMOND SUTRA level that **** up0 -
who ever started this stupid rumour that u make more money on the higher lvl grinds must have been lucky for an hour and based their asumption on that, or just blind and stupid. my best ever grinds were with evolved vipons lvl 50. grinded for a week on them and got 100k on average an hour. Now i'm lvl 70 and grinding sucks as far as dq drops go. I'm getting on average 60k an hour. The trouble is, yes the price of dq items go up, BUT the drop rate percentage of droping nothing goes up from around 55 - 60% to 70 - 75%. This has been my experience anyway. And considering the cost of weps and armour at this lvl this is a bad situation. And while i'm having a moan i might aswell mention the fact that TT edges and drums are going down in value these days aswell. prob. due to the fact that more and more players are reaching higher lvls.0

Just from grinding foxwing supremes for the last 50% of my lvl 58 and the last 50% of my lvl 59, I currently have a bankroll of ~720,000 coins. There's my verdict: Grinding is the way to go. I have never been this rich before in all my earlier levels.0

Do you guys sell these DQ drops to other players or npc's?0

Its simple people the longer you grind the more drops you get the more money you make levels kinda mean squat, sure the Prices on DQ items go up slightly but as stated more you grind the more you make that being said a few pointers...
4 to 5 levels lower green mobs seem to drop way more loot but low exp
4 to 5 levels higher orange mob drop almost nothing but give pretty good Exp
Flying mobs seem to give 30% more exp and good drops
Quests are great for EXP and give you a Goal at the end of a Grind + Money sometimes.
Parties are good only when NEEDED (Example you cannot kill a certain type of mob cause of dying) anytime else you lose EXP and loot to the broken Random share in this game.. you make 5x more money solo.
and there's always a certain mob type that drops squat move on from those..
FB's while they take away the tedium of grinding sometimes, are a waste of effort in the time you do the FB you can make 5x exp and money grinding..
HH is good for certain classes only and are slow as are Zhens personally hate zhens...
Patience makes you money if your have none you need a different type of game or PvP...0 -

Yeah foxies do drop good stuff, like tons of dq's and refined leather. Other good mobs are the bats at dreaming cloud and the alucards. If you hate the bats, which I do, their noise annoys me, resentful heathens drop some steel tokens which make good money also. I see a lot of ppl grind and dont pick up the coin or the items esp if they are on a miji but thats where then money comes from. From the alucards I would make about 200k per grinding session. The session would be when i would stop to sell dqs and buy ammo/pots/w/e. I made about 1 mil but then lost it ue to a heavy grinding session to get me to 70 (lots of charms and mijis bought...plus new weapon and armor). So yeah i need to grind but i hate it sooo much. If you hate it i would recommend listening to itunes or talking with a friend while you do it. Hope this helped :cute[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
