Leveling up and such

Hi, before I start playing this game, I was wondering how long level takes.
From hanging out around the forums, it seems that at a certain point, most people need to use real $$$ to level up efficiently. How much would this cost?
How do most people level in-game? Solo grinding, or partying in some dungeon with other players? Or doing quests?

do the quests and that will take you through the game and level you at a rate you need to. One quest opens another ect. and takes you to newareas wit stronger creatures.0

It's not really what other people can tell you. Some people lvl faster than others b:scorn so you can't really ask anyone else that question, because it really for you to decide. But lvling is fast from alot of peoples point of view.b:cute
I'll love him

You said it seems that people need $ at higher lvls to level "efficiently" or something but you don't ever need to pay $ just some people prefer to as it is "faster". It doesn't matter how fast you lvl, just enjoy the game and go at your own pace, fast or slow, we all get to the same ending point in the game (not that there is a game end) at our own stage of time.0

No need to rush things,,,have fun, meet ppl, and kill stuff....b:chuckle0

Its entirely possible to level quickly even late game spending no RL money. Even if you feel the need to buy item mall things, you could farm for money and exchange them for gold. So therefore, there is no "need" to pay money to level.0

Cash shop items make things easier, but aren't necessary, and can be bought for ingame money anyway.
Up until around level 42, 43 or so (depending on how often you die, how often you party, etc.) you can level entirely on quests. After that you're mainly grinding and doing daily quests, things you can do once a day with XP rewards, such as crazy stone.
You never need to spend real money, however at the higher levels in zhenning parties the damage dealers (archer, mage) and priest are expected to be able to keep their mana up for a very long time while it's getting rapidly depleted killing mobs the lurers bring, and the most effective way of doing that is with a cash shop item.
Cash shop items can be bought in the actual game however, so you can certainly just buy your heiro's with gold you make in the actual game, and you can level without zhenning, although it is easier.0
