help, can't play game

Hi,

I am a newbie and i cannot play the game.
I downloaded and finish patching the game.
After loading the game, i creating my new character. When I select my character, the game loads and then shut down.

Any clues??

    If the above does not help, please do a Verify from the launcher, and provide us the following fields from a DXdiag :
    System Tab - System Information box -
    Operating System :
    Processor :
    Memory :

    Display Tab - device box -
    Name:
    Chip Type:
    Approx Total Memory:

    Display Tab - driver box -
    Main Driver :
    Version :
    Date:

    To open a dxdiag :
    In Vista, type dxdiag in the Start menu search bar
    In other versions of Windows, type dxdiag in the Run command (Start > Run)

    I tried that and it didn't work. I still can't log onto the servers.

    Srady, did you get any results from a Verify from the Launcher? Have you updated XP to (at least) Service Pack 2 in the past?
