Question about damage/ attack power of Wiz

I am a level 40 wiz with 175 of my point in magic. I was wondering how some of the guys i run across have like 2.5 times the magic attack i do but are only like 2 levels up on me? Right now i have 750-800 magic attack. Thanks for anyone who can answer my question and possibly give me suggestions on how to increase my magic damage.

    Is that with your weapon equiped? I have more than you atm and im 3 levels lower. I would suggest better gear. DO you make your own gear? At the lower levels making your own 3* star can be huge.

    HOw are you stating your gear? DO you just wear any old piece of gear or do you look for what you need?

    Most of wiz magic attack is based upon your weapon. If you're holding a lvl 20 weapon @ lvl 30 you'll be doing noticably less dmg probably unless you're holding a 3* 20 vs a 1* 30.
