How exactly do venos make money?

I'm a lvl49 Veno, and I still can't make money. The only way I can make money is selling DQ items to NPC. So I want to know, what makes venos so rich?

I am pretty sure veno's sell pets to make money. Usually rare ones.0

yea but that takes too long, having to wait at spawn and stuff I think I'll make more money npcing the items i get from grinding0
-
I've seen people selling common yet useful pets like petite sawflys and probably magmites.0

Venos really aren't any more proficient at money making than any other class.... until level 63+, that's when we can solo certain TT bosses and cash in on the drops.
Some say venos save alot of money by not being as dependant on pots or charms(the pots part is actually true, but the money we save there really isn't much.... and ANY class can do just fine without charms).
They say that we can get by with sub-standard equips so we don't need to spend as much money on gear(that is entirely up to the player, any class can make it just fine with **** gear if their build is good and they know how to play it).
Much of what you read about venos being better at this or that is mostly just hype conjured up by the people who want everyone to believe Venos are some overpowered/unfair class that have an advantage in everything and "should be nerfed to make things fair"............. don't buy into it.0 -
Yeah, basically since you use less pots and you are solo anyways you do not need to buy heiros all the time for zhen parties. This saves you a lot of money in the long run and you can go for longer, thanks to your pet tanking for you. Mix in some focus powders and life powders and you will not have to worry about money so long as you do not spend it stupidly.
Since you are out longer anyways, you can get more mats then other people, so you can make a lucrative profit off of selling those alongside commonly recommended pets like magmite and sawfly. If you get to high enough level to get foxwings in a good number, you could sell those as well.
Oh, and you save a ton of money on not having to repair so much. Since you rarely get hit due to your pet going in first all the time.
Once you get high enough to grind TT bosses for drops, money will flow in all the easier.
Its combined money saving and duration you can grind without problems or having to return to town to restock, only to sell.
I would also recommend stashing your money in the bank when it gets to a certain points. Like... only ever keep 10k on you at any one time. When you get beyond 10k from your latest selling of DQ items from grinding, or you made a killing selling mats dump it in the bank.
In the long run you will find yourself rich since you have less temptation to spend spend spend. In particular on mats, after you sold all yours to make money, when you find you need or want to make stuff. I burned through 100k today myself on mats due to impulse buying and having all my money on me. Now I got to make all that back up, which is not very difficult since I keep getting DQ item drops and still have quests I can do.
Sorry for rambling.0 -
best way I have found to make money so far, is to level pets up, keep the stackables, and sell those. Usually come close to 100k a session.
Dont keep armor (less you can use it) or other drops, only stackables.
(DQs mainly, some others if they can garner coin)
But, what most do not realize, is that yes, we save coin on pots, but we have to spend more than any other class when it comes to upgrading our pets on their skills. 200k per upgrade, and 300-750k to learn skills (200k to upgrade what you learn). So, no, it's not a cheap class by any stretch if you plan on playing it to it's potential.
Those farming sessions I speak of are so you can save coin for your pet upgrades.Oishasan

What you said is partially true, just pointing out a few things:
Your probably getting confused with the **** gear. When ppl say **** gear, they mean that you don't really have to upgrade your armor much. You could wear the same armor from level 20 and make it to level 50. That's just something no other class can do because they are pretty much guaranteed to be hit.
Also, you didn't mention the repairs of a Barb/Blademaster(Especially barbs).Or the amount of money a cleric spends on skills. Or the amount of money a archer spends on arrows.
Anyway, in order to make money, I just farm materials. Herbs, iron, you name it. I can make about 300k after maybe 2 hours of farming.0 -
I do not think veno can pull more money in then other classes, but we are richer compare to most other classes for sure. I haven’t even bought 1 armor or weapon so far, always use whatever I looted from mobs or from quest reward. I also do not use pots, the soul transfer and 2 healing skill is enough to grind without pots. We also do not have big repair bill compare to other classes, I only need to do repair once every 2 weeks, and the bill is usually less than 20k. other player always think we make big money from farming HH, it is actually not true at least at my level. I did 9 HH1-1 solo last weekend, it takes me 3 hours, total drop worth about 1.8M if I can sell them at the price I want, but substances I used worth 600k+, so it is like 1M profit, but I can usually get 300K in drop when grinding, that’s close to 1M for 3 hours period, and I also get exp when grinding. So you can see you actually do not make a lot of money from farming HH until you can solo in less than 10 minutes each run (it is possible), but when you reached the point you can solo HH in less than 10 minutes, you could probably make more than 300K a hour when grinding.0

well it depends on personal decision
at first the difference between veno and other class are minimal that start to changed from 20++ while other class seemed to need a good eq to play efficiently veno has larger error margin that allows us to use low lv eq even when we are much higher lv than the weapon(i use the first quest weapon till lv 22 lol and no i havent do the FB 19 yet till i'm 35 or so to solo it tho it is kinda waste so please dont follow me)
the needs for pots are very minimal
for me i use very little amount of pots up till now i believe i only have used 15-23 pots it also include the accident button pressed lol
and we probably will die less then other since we can sacrifice our pet to be killed by the mobs to saves our lives
the only times i died is because i'm afk in the wrong place or do silly things
lastly loot all loots that you can get
that is mostly why people complained they have less money than other
and remember that the npc gears are **** and shouldnt be bought no matter what for WF0 -
@davais
When I started soloing hh 2-1 instead of 1-1 I started making more money.
When you can solo 2-2 you can make a lot of money (there's some bosses in here that are a real pain to do in party mode)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
