Client Error

I've have not played Perfect World for many months now due to some graphics issues that I've been facing. However, recently I've been inclined to want to begin playing again. I've just finished downloading and manual patching. I restarted the client as ordered, however, upon clicking start I get this message in some odd language I cannot understand.
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g118/Joshuamp/Untitled-2.png
I have a feeling that this is an issue that may be related to my video card. I know that I have a Geforce 7300 GS installed, however, when I look under my System Hardware thing on my computer, it is not under display adapters, but has a yellow flag and named as Video Controller (VGA Compatible).
Now , I know that I may be seeking help in all the wrong places, but I only ask you can be kind enough to help me so that I may be once again able to play this great game. I don't want wanna have to spend another couple months before I can. Thanks so much for all that you guys do.

Thank you so much for your quick response! I'm glad to see that the moderators here are 1000x better than those of the Malaysian version.:)
I had a feeling it was that. I downloaded the latest driver from the nvidia website yesterday. However, I'm not sure exactly how to install it. It appears to be an .exe file, so I just let it do what it did. However, once it installed, my graphics settings were set to super low, and my comp froze. Upon restarting, after windows booted up, the settings were still super low, and I would continue to freeze and/or crash&reboot. Am I totally not installing it correctly?
Thank you once again for your great customer support.:)

You should be able to run the .exe directly. In some cases, it's best to make sure that all other driver and driver-like files are removed first -- to do so, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add and Remove Programs... and look for any programs about nVidia or ATi graphics drivers, and uninstall them before installing the updated driver.
Do also make sure that you're plugged into the correct video card, especially on computers with an on-motherboard graphics chip.
If the problem persists, you may benefit from using modified drivers, such as the OmegaDrivers.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
ok, sorry for the delayed response, but I was trying to work everything out.
SO this is my status. I checked to see if there were any existing drivers before I installed the new ones, and there were none. I installed the new drivers and was prompted to restart my computer, so I did. Upon restarting upon passing the windows loading screen and entering the "welcome" screen, I start getting long flickerings and upon eventually loading my desktop, it takes a loong time to load and it will freeze and crash. I eventually got into Safe Mode and checked what was up. I looked in device manager and my card name was under Display adapters.
After a long time of rebooting my comp and receiving the same results, I tried uninstalling the drivers. Once I did so, my comp now loaded up without problem.I'm at a wall here as what to do next. Although I do have an observation which I'm not sure has anything to do with anything, but it stuck out to me. During Safe Mode, I had right clicked my desktop and gone to Properties>Settings>Advanced>and the Adapter Tab. When I looked there, and the new drivers were still installed, my video card was not listed there, instead, something else. Now that I have the drivers uninstalled and I look, there is nothing listed.
Not sure if that helps any, but it looked important at the time, lol.
Thank you so much again for your help and patience.=[

Are you sure you have a graphicscard apart from the inbuild ones in most computers? Those are unreliable at best and most do not work with PWI.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

From what I could find out on my own, I believe I have a Gigabyte Geforce 7300 GS from a little looking inside my comp and a little help from looking though Google images for a match. This is the card I found that matches my own.
http://www.ixbt.com/video2/images/g73-2/gigabyte-7300gs-front.jpg
also, I failed to mention that I have been able to play this game on this card before. I played up to lvl 70someting on MY-EN, and also through the beta stage of this version. Sadly, the day this issue arose was the last day of beta and the day of full launch.:'(0 -
Can you try running this test please?

Select something like Wow in the list then run that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
ok, so I did the test for WOW Lich King.
It seems that everything got a pass except for my video card. For that section I got an "Unknown" with a message stating
"Could not determine the video card requirement for your computer. Please review the video card details below or use another method for your evaluation."
For the video card sections, it could not detect what video card I have. At the time of the test, I had the "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" under the hardware list thing.0 -
Could you go to the start button and type "Dxdiag" in the Run field (or in the Search field if using Vista), then tell me what it says in the Display tab?==/Senior QA Lead/==

If the drivers were installed properly, you should have gotten only an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS listed under adapter. Was another device listed than that, and if so, can you describe the device?
Can you try the Gigabyte nvidia drivers, temporarily?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Ok. SO I downloaded the Giga Drivers and tried them out. Unfortunately, once I installed them, they rebooted my comp and following the windows loading screen, I got a screen with tons of vertical rows of red dots. From there, it wouldn't lead to anything, so I uninstalled them through Safe Mode.
In response to surtr, here is the dxdiag text. I'm sure that it's more than you asked for, but I figured you guys would be asking for the rest sooner or later anyways. Thank you all for your concern and commitment to your customers.:']

sorry for the late response, but partly due to some downloading issues I've been facing, I'm was forced to have to download those drivers on my desktop, which only has dial up. I also couldn't help but noticing how busy you all must be due to what I hear has happened about PW TW's and flying.:[
So, after those finally downloaded, I tried installing them, but they only loaded up and stated that they could not because their drivers did not detect any compatible hardware of mine. So that's where I am.
On a related note, I also have another observation to deliver. I think it was yesterday when I felt like trying out the original driver once more, the one I had received directly from the nVidia website, and this time it worked, to some extent. For once, the driver actually downloaded and everything seemed to be fine, well, at least nothing crashed. However, upon installing them, my computer resolution was set to like 480/6-something and only 4bit color. I tried readjusting these settings via Right-Click>Properties>Settings, but I came to find that those low settings were the only settings available, nothing higher was there for me to select. However, apart from the crummy picture, it appeared that everything was normal, or at least functioning. That's pretty much it when it comes to that, just thought it seemed important.
Does this all mean that my video card is broken or is it all merely a tricky driver problem?
Thank you once again for all of your hard work and dedication even throughout this holiday season.:']

It may merely be a tricky driver problem. The HP contact page for your device swears that it should have a 7300 LE, but you've been describing a 7300 GS. Did you upgrade this device at some time in the past?
Can you download and install Everest, and use that program to determine more information about your graphics card?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I think it was about 4 years ago when the original video card from our computer overheated, or something to that extent. We had bought the computer from Circuit City a while before that, so we called them and their tech team to fix it for us. When the guy came out to our house, he replaced the original with a new card, however, I'm not sure whether or not he upgraded us.
I would say, being that my basis of what my card is is based on Google Images, I would say trust your judgment on would it actually is, lol.
On a side note, I was wondering if the Trial Edition of Everest will do the job, or if not, is there a free version out there? Nevertheless, I already started downloading to save time if that isn't the case.
I'll see if I can open up my comp and take a pic of the card itself, hopefully that will ease any confusion.:]
Happy Holidays and don't get behind on your Christmas Shopping.:)

The trial edition should do it -- it's worked fine for me in the past.
I'm more interested in seeing how the device is detected from a logical level than what's physically plugged in. It almost sounds like you're getting nasty driver conflicts, but I don't see this sort of behavior often.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Ok, so I downloaded and installed the program. Thank goodness it's such an easy program to navigate.:)
For the sake of not losing information, I thought it best just to relay you the screenshots.
"Display >> GPU"
"Display >> PCI / AGP Video"
"Devices >> Physical Devices"
"DirectX >> DirectX Video"
I hope this is all you needed, if not, don't hesitate to ask for more information.
