Having problem getting into the game

Hi i just download this game about 3days ago and the 1st time i tried playing it, it went straight ahead and now i cant even get into the game, it keeps saying Updating Files.. taskdata and it keeps on restarting.. can someone tell me how to fix this problems all help will be appreciated thanks

    I have been having a similar problem since yesterday. It keeps saying "Updating Files..... badwords.txt" and it just stays there. I dunno what the problem is. Ive been trying to play for about 24 hours now. Can someone please help me.

    I did everything step by step and its still doin the same thing. :( Im gettin frustrated..

    Are you updating through the manual patchers or autoupdater?

    The auto-update gives me the badwords.txt. And the manuals keep sayin "Update Server fails. Please Try Other Update Server.

    Can you check the state of your Windows Firewall or other security software, and make sure they're not blocking the updater?

    I turned my firewalls off yesterday. And my security is shut down right now. I dunno wtf is wrong.

    Do you have your Windows XP installation CD? That file should be there, and be automatically detected from the cd tray or a Browse... when you attempt to install East Asian Language support.

    That file is nowhere to be found on this XP cd. :(

    i used that one and now its working fine,
    but i got one more question do i need to download all the patches or i just need to download 1? i downloaded the 1 to 52 all help will be appreciated thanks

    You should only need to use the 1-52 patch -- the other manual patches are for players or computers that have been partially updated.
