Few suggestions.

I think a lot of things in the game needs adjustments. So I'm going to talk about (Warning!! Incoming rantz! b:angry) 2 things which I think needs adjustments. People may or may not agree with me on these. But alas that can't be helped. So here goes.
First up.
==Bosses==
What can you say. These guys are the baddest of the bad. Meanest of the mean. And the hardest hitting S.O.Bs you can go up against. Now I don't mind getting groups for these bosses. But it gets really annoying to constantly rely on much higher level players just to kill them. Now I love the Fu Ben 19 bosses. Perfectly balanced. A normal group of people level ranges 19 to 22 can take on any of the 3: Throhm, Razorjaw and Occultist.
Now here's the problem. When players get to Fu Ben 29, they have to take out Qing Zi. A level 35 boss, The boss of Fu Ben 29. Doesn't sound like a problem right? Wrong. A normal group of people ranged 29-32 can't just stroll in there and take out Qing Zi. Why? Because his attack damage rating is so high he can literally 2-4 shot a barbarian DEAD at that level range! So what does it take to kill it? A level 53+ Barbarian, Cleric and a Archer or Blademaster. Yeah that's right. Something that should easily take a group of people level ranged 29-33 at least is so strong that he can own a fking mid level range group almost. AND HE'S ONLY LEVEL THIRTY-FRIGGING-FIVE!!
Qing Zi is so overpowered he can kick Gouf the Aerox Chief's a** and teabag him afterwards for the lulz. Someone at PWE HQ must have thought . o O (**** this "Chuck Norris". Qing Zi for the win!!). And don't get me started on Krixxix, Zang, Gouf, Chewy, Jewelscalen and a bunch others. When we want to fight a boss we want to rely on our own strength. Not have a high level hold our hand through this stuff. It makes me feel helpless when I do this. Now I'm not dissing the help from high level players. Not at all. I just want to rely on my self and other players my level than players 15 levels higher.
You guys seriously need to look this over. Qing Zi on up. I'm not asking for EZ mode. Just strong enough to do our thing so we can proceed to the next challenge without bugging high level players for every little boss.
Anyway. I can go on and on about these bosses. So i'll leave it be and proceed to the next on the list.
Second up.
==Item Drop Rates==

I can't comment on other peoples luck with obtaining items in the game so i'm only speaking from my perspective and experience.

The drop rate is atrociously a**. I kid you not. I go out and grind mobs for about an hour. Sometimes a little over 2. And I occasionally see coin drops. I don't even go out to grind with the intention to get items half the time. Just to get spirit. But I need to pay for my skills, Weapons, Armor and Ornaments and these monsters aren't dropping anything I can sell most of the time. Now I know what you're going to say: "Go kill mobs close to you own level." (Um.. duh? Way to go Cap'n obvious) I do that. And it's the same damn thing: Barely ANY friggin drops.
Now some days I log on and get a plethora of items from my usual grinding spots. But other days I bust up like 100+ (<- Slight exaggeration) mobs and most are all like "well fk him". And I leave with barely anything to show other that the coin drops I get. And that's used up because I have to repair my equipment!
Seriously need to consider the acquisition rates of some items or just boost the drop rate in the main and sub loot pools altogether. You know what else you can do? Get rid of the stupid level limitation on obtaining items from higher/lower level monsters. It's annoying to buy DQ 21 items at outrageous prices from other people to get a Copper Dragon Order.
Now on a side note. You guys need to put Molds that drop from bosses up for purchase from the DQ guy like the other molds. Just to allow people a alternative to obtain these weapons/armor/ornaments. You could set the level 19-22 Molds at 20 Copper Dragon Orders or something.
Anywho. I'm done for now. Going to grab a pepsi.

I completly agree with you about both points. Do you have any idea how hard it was to find a Jewel killing party? It took me almost three weeks! And most of the high lvs that I asked wanted almost 100K just to help fight her! I havent even fought Viriddis yet, I dont wanna know how bad that will go.
About the item drops, I totally feel you on the point that the drop rate limits should be raised (con glue was a ***** to find). Most of the manufaturing skills require you to go after higer lv mobs in order to obtain mats for creating things. The problem with this is that by the time you've reached a high enough lv to face these creatures by yourself, the drop rate percentage has dropped (dramaticlly), making it alomst impossible to gather mats for mat creation, I mean 2 hours of grinding for 2 pieces of con glue! Thats ridiculous! And just like King said, DQ items are the same friggin way!0 -
Well..bosses are supposed to be a challenge.. although I do think pwi went a little overboard with it. I think it's just another way to make us buy charms or other useless **** from boutique. As it stands, you're pretty much screwed if you attempt any boss w/o 2+ clerics. (Not including bosses under Qing Zi)
As for the drop rate thing, I think the drop rate could be improved a little, but then again..too much supply = little demand. As for the DQ mats like soft fur, just make a new character and get around level 20, cause I got a ton of soft furs(nearly over 200 for 3 hours..I guess that's just my luck) from killing the wolves in broken bow bluff at around that level.
On a side note: Why do you bother to pay for the outrageous prices people want... I mean..greed has already taken over PWI, why make it worse?
~ As for removing the decrease in drop rate for a high level killing a low level monster, are you INSANE?! You would enjoy tons of high levels taking over your spot for mats?

For the drops, I kinda wish the boss drops would be a bit more better, its sad to see when all they do is drop like10 stacks of coins T_T
As for the bosses themselves, I think most should be possible for that lvl range. I guess we are so used to higher lvls actually wanting to help out in FB19,29,39+ the whole idea of needing to have a higher lvl for bosses came natural.
Everytime I would need to ask in worldchat to do a boss, a nice high lvl would be willing to help, or someone would ask one in their faction. Secretly tho I kinda missed the challenge.
Jewelscalen, not being a FB, no high lvls came. I asked in world chat "who actually needed it". Only the pple who needed it came and our lvl range was 48-55. (Gathered in like 15min or so) Lv55 being a cleric and the main solo tank being a 53 Barbarian. Cleric2, barb, veno, archer,(cant remember the 6th job) Im sure by this time we all got SOME apothecary skill. The meds helped tons especially the x000HP/30sec regen orbs that helped stabalize the tanks HP at the initial contact when the main cleric started spaming ironheart on him. When we got the hang of it, it was pretty easy **** and the whole party decided to continue on to Viriddis.
It was a challenge and it was very fun, just took few mins to listen, talk, and organize everyones roles before attacking.
Only nitpick I would have is the normal quests >.> You lvl up and get a new quest to kill 50 XXX's, you go there and look at the XXX mob only to see that theyre like...5 lvls above you with a nice orange name. Higher lvl bosses are acceptable cause its only say 1-5 boss mobs at the most and well...they ARE bosses.
