Hi guys... I'm about to get to lvl70 and got this big piece of doubt lol...

See... I'm almost certain I'll go for TT70 weap (duh lol)... but then I'll check and everyone talks about Unicorn. I mean, thats the only bow to choose, dmg aint too impressive, and add-ons arent all that much either. So why does it seem noone pays attention to xbows? I fear there is something I'm missing... perhaps cuz mats for unicorn are easier to get? I dunno

Could really use some advice/opinions here ^^

    molder slingshot is best for pve, cheapest wpn to use for grinding since you don't have to use skills beyond a knock back and stun/frost

    thundercrack is best for pvp, highest max atk, also at 80 you will need it anyway to make the lvl 80 xbow with 1% crit, although the other 2 choices might even be better at 80 since they have like 20% chance to slow/stun.

    unicorn bow is the cheapest one out of them. Since it only takes 5 of the hh1-2 chin drops, which you can probably get for under 500k now (all 5). A lot of people also thought they can just make the 80 gold bow, but didn't realize the drops are pretty rare, since only 1% drop rate, and you need 2. The gold 80 bow is probably the best 80 wpn though.

    I used a sling, and it wasn't much worse than using the bow pvp wise, at least against clothies, but it's amazing against mobs, so it's way worth it.

    because its cheapest, just because trail xbow is used at low levels doesn't mean moonlight bow isn't better does it?
    also a lot of people think tehy can make the lvl 80 crimson horn soulsmasher from unicorn souledge, and then fail , thats why you sometimes see unicorns for sale for less then lvl 60 xbows

    best advice would be to get the thundercrack and continue that hh weapon path because its the best and also do cube for like 2~3 chips and buy the fb69 slingshot for grinding.

    Honestly, slingshot right now is super cheap too, only about 500-600k for the mold in auction. I was one of those ppl that thought getting 80 gold bow would be awesome then found out the drop rate of golden spirit was 1% and gave up, but already made the unicorn bow. To my surprise, 2 golden spirits dropped in 1 run and since I already had almost all the mats for the gold bow I made it. Either way thought at 90 you would still need the thundercrack for the 90 xbow since it's better than most of the other weapons and the 88 xbow is godly for pve and cheap to get.

    i got my mold for only 300k
    i have one question i noticed that there are 2or 3 different HH 70 xbows
    is there any difference between them? depending on what you choose you will be forced to choose from different hh80 xbows?

    There are different bonuses to them. Check pwdatabase.com to see those.

    the xbow that gives stun/paralyze looks more appealing to me than the one with 1 % crit

    Keep in mind that the chance of activation for stun is probably pretty low... I'd say either 5 or 10%, though I'm not really sure.
