Emergency Maintenance Complete

Hello all:

Just wanted to inform everyone that we will be conducting an additional session of server maintenance tonight (Wed., Dec. 17) from 2 am to 4 am.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. There are a couple of fixes that need to be pushed out as well as updated data for the upcoming Christmas events and quests.

Upon resumption of service your client will download an additional patch.

    man this is bs =/ i get like 4 hours play a night and every patch you do ties up 2 hours of it la need to switch work hours

    I work from 2pm-10:30pm and sometimes 11:30pm, and I don't even get home until around midnight. I'm new to the game so imagine how this is for me. At least you get 4 hours. I'm lucky if I can get 30 minutes to an hour. I started a blademaster last night and I hadn't even become familiarized with Etherblade before they had to do maintenance. Now I'm probably only going to get another 30 minutes to an hour before I need to go to sleep. My girlfriend plays a lot during the day and is out-leveling me :-( lol This sucks.

    wtf...postponed TT/FB plans and...for what..... did all GM realized they'd have to work late so went out to pub/home instead ? or maybe patch wasnt 100% and theyre actually testing it...
    either way update us?

    seriously not up for wasting hours of my time just so i can trade my stuff for prize's i dot even get? wtf i mean other players are getting the lion mount yet i did 1st prize at least a dozen times and didnt get nothing!!! wtf!!!

    lol, that's kinda how it is with me and my bf. i play his char for him an hour or so a day to help him out.

    btw. for everyone that is freaking out that the maintance is delayed or even happening wtf? they're working on it, delays happen, get over it. Games need patches, especially this early on. i mean arent we still in open beta anyways. i'd much rather the maintance for 2 hours once a week and the emergency ones once in a while than a game with a ton of glitches and no updates for events and such.

    its not the point that its delayed its the point of should we or enough time to do this or that dont want to burn subs ect and have a random shut down like before

    From what I have been told by GM's so far they are trying to get everything done with the servers being up as long as possible. You may be kicked sometime so that the new patch can get live.

    So uh.. according to your announcement.. the maintenance is supposed to be running now?

    How come the servers aren't down? o.o

    The servers are going down in about 10 minutes.

    EDIT: The servers will be down for about 2 hours.

    Just now the maintenance mention 11pm to 1am. So did that happen or did it delay to 2am-4am?

    It was delayed through to some problems. Going to be down from 2am to 4am PST or 10am to noon GMT.

    its good they are doing this bug fix, at least they listen to us all and sort out the issues. my only problem is it will change the spawn of rares grrrr!

    2 hours for a patch to fix bugs? Although Dawn of War is an RTS game, its latest expansion Soulstorm had 4 gamebreaking bugs that took Relic 7 months to fix.

    So 2 hours is not that long for a fix, its rather... expedient compared to the wait times for many other games.

    OMG, stop complaining!

    At least they ARE fixing bugs, unlike that other version I played before.

    I for one would like to thanks the GMs/Admins/Devs for working hard to fix the bugs that crept in with yesterday's patch.

    wow people u know its just a game and maitenence is almost always a part of online games so just relax and let the GM's do there job ............which they are obviosly good at if so many peolpe play this game :) i know it sucks having shut downs but just more time to do things in real life lol i spend way to much time on this game heeheehee but i love it thanks GM's 4 giving us such a sweet free online game ;P

    I for one pity the GM's who had to work on this tonight. Don't forget 2am-4am PST... And they still have to be at work like normal in the morning. So if everything goes well they can leave the office for about 5am then the journey home, not everyone can go to bed straight away when coming home... So sleeping by 7am if lucky? b:shocked
