Auto Patch and Direct download do not work!

Auto game patch does not work or the direct download from the site..

seems like this is a known error but i don't understand why its still slow. It is now 3am local which means the servers have had 2 hours to handle all the major traffic.

It seems the only patch server is not working correctly.

Is there another link i can download the patches or an alternate server?

    Im sorry Aryanna but this did not work. I replaced the files as you advised but no difference.

    When i attempt to patch automatically i get error:

    "Update server connection failed Please try other update server"

    Unfortuanetly there seems to be something wrong with the manual patch this time. I have been stuck for a while now on 8 hours 13 minutes remaining for manual patch and even if I restart the same thing happens again. b:surrender

    This is our best bet until someone at PW office in SFO can re-upload the manual patch file, which to me seems corrupt.

    I read that post and it does not work.

    Im guessing they got lucky establishing a connection to the server, but that does not fix the fact that the problem is most likely the server.

    That actually sounds more like a connection problem.

    Im not sure if the update server can be rebooted remotely, but I'm sure the image is fine just the server is not running properly. A simple reboot may fix the problem.

    The servers for the manual patch are different from those for the game itself. I admit the manual patch is definetly not right as it is but the autopatch should at least try for you to patch it not tell you that it can not connect.

    I got lucky with auto patch so i am in game now woo hoo!

    The primary patch server works off those machines at IP addresses :
    74.217.110.111
    74.217.110.112
    74.217.110.113
    74.217.110.114
    74.217.110.115
    74.217.110.119
    74.217.110.120

    The manual patch servers (download3.perfectworld.com) are running from those at :
    74.217.110.116
    74.217.110.117

    It's possible they're the same machines underneath that, but it'd be a pain in the backside to set it up that way with little or no benefit.
