A real debate: Axe Vs. Spear Vs. Sword

For PvP.
I want all the skilled, high lvl blades to give their input into what weapon is the most wanted late game and can deal the most DPS with skills.

I personally plan on going Axe/spear due to both of them having around the same str/dex requirements.

    Axe or Spear, doesn't matter which one, you will perform good at any scenario.

    Both deal the highest damage in their way, so it's matter of equipment late game. 1vs1 Spear is slightly better and Axe for TW.

    Interesting, so swrod is out of the question?

    In your personal experience how has spears treated you? Are you undefeated in duals/PK vs. other BMs?

    I'm going Axe/Spear too, but I have no clue if I should have enough DEX for Spear or Blade to be good at PvP.
    Going enough STR for Axe and enough DEX for Blade makes me have low VIT, might make dex enough for Spear but I will miss a lot >.<

    I think Axe and Spear are the best, Axe has stuns, spear has range.
    I dont know a lot about Blade and Fist though.

    I have gone axe because of the stuns and aoe's. They deal the greatest damage and will always out perform any basic sword or duel swords. Me and my wife test this everytime she gets a new sword and I woop her everytime. Yet, when she uses her axes she woops me,lol so there ya go. I havent used spear although I have lvled some of the skills up due to the range for TW later. I still lvl my dex higher than required due to the evasion I recieve therefore im hitting HARD and they are missing ALOT, lol. Some ppl dont understand if the other player misses you all the time, you dont need high hp *winks* Good luck on your build,.,.,

    Im never one to say, "Hey look around forums this topics been done"

    But Come on, there's over 10 Threads on this.

    Seriously no weapon is "better or worse" It's what you're trying to accomplish.

    Since level 30, I haven't been defeated by other BM of my same level or in a range of 9 levels higher than me. Of course I have lost some fights, but some of them were 12~18+ levels than me or because of running out of MP potions :P

    Questing, Zhenning, Solo AoE or TW, anything with Spears has a good performance.

    I'm pretty much happy with Spears and the higher level the better it gets. I can't wait to get Smack and use a much better performance of ranged attacks with Spears.

    Enough STR for your weapon, 50-65 Base VIT and add whenever or IF you feel like adding more, rest into DEX.

    Axe = AoE

    Spear = PvP

    Sword = 1v1 PvE/PvP
