Well, I just started PWI today as a cleric. I plan on being a support cleric.

Since I'm new to the game as a whole, I took at look at this guide:
http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1331
And followed the normal build that was the recommendation.

So, I have
12 MAG
6 STR
8 VIT
5 DEX
at level 3.

Have I messed up already? Should I not have gotten STR and VIT?

Also, people say this is an expensive class. What is the best way I should make money? Is this really going to make a cleric not fun?

Thanks in advance b:victory

No, you havent messed up. Depending on your preferences, You can do 9 mag 1 str every two lvls, or 6/7 Mag 1 str and 2/3 vit every two lvls. Your mag should always be over 3x your lvl, so don't worry about that. NEVER add into dex unless you are going to be a Light Armor cleric, which is stupid, because you want to be a support cleric, and LA's are for PvP

As long as you have not added dex, it should be fine=)
STR is needed to hold your stuff so its needed but you only need to invest in to fulfill the minimum requisite for your equips
I personally added VIT every 1 level in the past til the level i found it was acceptable. ( mine was 40)
    Vit is your own preferance
MAG is a must add as it determines your damage and others.

And money making comes naturally. I do not really consider myself poor but we are certainly a class that devours mp pots and mp charms.
You can make money by npcing DQ drops in the latter stages. Or doing some buy and sell in archo.
    And a cleric is funxD
    So just enjoy it=)

A little bit of Str is good because you need it to carry weapons and armor.
    Vitality is optional.

Cleric so far has been my money making class. With Celestial Seal, mp regenerates fairly quickly when resting. The only time I chew up potions are when in a fast, focused party, eg when in a dungeon.

The quick ranged attacks are good for mid level farming and wraith attacks. Also, I love being the one class that can give everyone else at least one useful buff if not many. Being able to add 50% to a magician's or a venomancer's attacks really makes you one of the go to people. Random fly-by buffing is fun too :)

    Wow, thanks for the responses.

So, 40 vitality is enough? is that basically what I should go for?
