Are attack clerics worth playing? Im kinda new, I have a lvl 11 archer though b:laugh anyways... Ive seen low lvl battle clerics, and im just wondering if there able to play well at higher lvls? My ingame name is Rosealynn, And im online now.

    FAC's are great damage dealers. They lack a bit in the defense department, but they're able to kite, or just kill monsters before they even get to them. The only real downside they have is their MP usage, which is really high, so you'll have to meditate a lot, or resort to potions and the like.

    FAC clerics are great hybrids. While true they could do more with defense and are limited to metal elements there's nothing like being able to buff or heal yourself when things get bad.

    My only advice if you want to take FAC up to the higher levels is to develop a thick skin. If I had a dollar for every time I was told I wasn't doing the right thing or that I should shut up and heal I would be a very rich woman indeed. IMO it was well worth the effort. Since my 60's I've been having a blast!

    Full Attack Clerics are **** and wont ever make it to 90
    if u want a classe that deals damage go with an Archer or a Mage
    by going the "full attack" u are wasting the skills that makes your class unique in this game and youre therefore pretty useless

    deal metal/physical damage? Archers do it BETTER
    deal magic damage? Mages do it BETTER
    (damn even WF with a good pet are doing more damage than a Priest)
    hea/buffl? NO ONE does it better than a regular Priest

    ^Play one then complain. FAC's are the most dangerous PvP class you'll ever meet, and they deal way more damage than archers and mages. Their ONLY downside is the high mana costs.

    This guy ain't no none about FAC
    FAC could be the best in pvp if u know how to build them
    as we all know tempest skill is freaking amazing + debuff enemy's magic def + spark u can 1 hit any + or below ya lvl, if u fully got those skills.

    you were obviously NEVER in a bigger PvP fight
    stop doing **** 1on1s and u realize your squishy build doesnt work cause everyone oneshots you and your damage is WORSE than an archers or mage
    mb not on your lowbie level but that doesnt matter anyways cause NO ONE wants u in their parties nor in the guild (if its a good guild, not these nonfactors)

    I'm a waste of the attack cleric's oxygen.

    Why don't you do yourself a favor and stop wasting server resources with a character that's useless. Sorry for trying to help these poor clerics that have been mislead by uninformed forumgoers like you.

    I encourage everyone to do a instant background check on the people who are posting. The number in their avatar is their level, and they will often have their guild and their rank in the guild in their signature. I, for instance, lead RageQuit which owns 11 territories on the Lost City PVP server. I am a level 84 mage, and I kick FAC clerics out of my guild because in those 84 levels and all the TWs victories we've pulled I've realized that attack clerics are completely useless.

    Notice how I've still never seen either character on Lost City meaning neither is over 80.

    You've offered no basis behind your arguement, all you've thrown out is "SHUT UP YOU'RE NOT SPECIAL AHHH ATTACK CLERICS OWN LEVEL 30!" and nothing to get you any sort of authority on the topic. I, on the other hand, lead the guild that's considered the most organized guild on Lost City as well as the biggest PVP/PK guild and we kick FAC clerics for being useless.

    Do you practice being ignorant? Round about the 90's ALL clerics have pretty much max'd out thier attack trees and are quite respectible in the heal/defence department.

    off course clerics should max all the important attack skills at lvl 90 (wield thunder, cyclone, plume shot, possibly tempest) cause at that lvl you have more then enough sp for that.

    A Full attack cleric however, according to cayeons guide, shouldn't get any heals (except ironheart), purify and res even when you have enough sp for it at higher lvls.

    I remember reading that and he mentioned in his thread that it was preference. He chose not to level those healing skills even if he had enough SP because he liked to stick to his character. He wanted to only DD and not heal whatsoever.

    That was Cayeon's thing and I don't particularly blame him. He blazed a different path. Does that mean every FAC is going to blindly follow along? No.

    I think if any Cleric makes it too thier 90's they are going to have to be somewhat social. But that's me. Adapt.

    First of all I'm sure this is going to fly off some people's heads because I'm low-level but damn it I'm new here (not exactly but come on! I was on finals...)

    Why so much drama over what build is best? everyone plays the game how they want to and what the two guys above me have said the FAC guide was made from the experiences and planning of one individual and he even acknowledges it's controversial.

    Apparently, if you read the other threads, Pandora and Deadbone had a bad experience and decided to take thier frustration out on FAC's in public.

    Personally I would have just chalked it up to a bad day. This sort of stuff is over the top. Kicking all the supposed FAC's out of your guild because of it is way way over the top. I'm sure they are happier else where without all the drama.

    I just realized my message got cut off (the board doesn't support accents?), I was gonna continue with the point of the game being having fun, but yeah, I just read the other threads, guess I shouldn't waste anyone's time complaining about someone complaining....

    No, the Isowen change was fueled by the bad experience with Deadbone. I have been kicking FAC clerics for weeks, starting with xDeath and most recently _Tina_. If your class is unable to fulfill it's role I have no use for you.

    Lenneth, please stick with unaccented alphanumerics, periods, exclamation marks, quotations, and commas. There are some minor issues with other characters in some cases.

    Just a quick heads up : be polite and courteous, and do not use profanity in your posts. These are the rules, and while I value and respect interesting debate on the difficult choice of selecting gameplay design, there's not so much value in throwing profanity around or dismissing other people's viewpoints.

    Pandora, it's your guild and you're quite free to do whatever you want to it (within the restrictions of the terms of service). Very little is being served, however, with oversized font.

    He uses big font to compensate for his obviously fragile grasp on reality... reality being.. this is a game where people come to have fun and relax, enjoy company or not (I solo a lot because I ENJOY being alone and don't particularly like being around people, in real life, or a game).

    Seems kinda harsh to just kick em

    also teh large text is .. makes my eyes hurt sry dyslexic ^^ i find black on white hard and its harder with iradic text sizes

    but anyway main subject the answer is personal pref Atk clerics tend to be very good in 1v1 pvp while mages and archers are insanly good in anything larger

    personally i would try it out and if u like it stick with it if u want to change class go ahead it is your own mistake if u dont like the class becouse we cant advise u without noing what sort of person u are
