Buying cash?

I looked at the charge thing and i was wondering, do you have to pay with real $ to get gold, silver, etc.
And at the boutique, i cant buy anything, so is that the only way to get the right kind of cash or is there another way?

Answers are grately liked(lol, i couldent spell appreshiated, <-- is that right?)!!!!

    buy (GOLD) in-game for that
    if you bought zen
    you need to convert it to gold at the website
    then bought the stuff in-game
    depending on the server it might cost up to 150k of coin for 1 gold

    I tried to buy gold from the auctioneer today and have 350K coins - it let me set the price I was willing to pay (higher than offer prices listed), then to set the amount - asked me to confirm the transaction which I did BUT it then said the account was too low.

    Needless to say I'm a little confused - my playing partner and I are saving frantically for an ingame wedding but can only do this if we can actually buy the gold.

    Do you need to set up a wallet using the Buy Zhen feature first?

    Is there a minimum amount of gold you must buy (sure the answer to this is no, only a maximum)?

    And has anyone drawn up a step-by-step account of how to use the system in the first place for us relative noobs?

    That's great for converting Gold to coin but unfortunately not the other way - anyway I have set up a Zhen profile and will check today to see if that helps ;)

    Hi! I just tried this today, and ran into the same problem. You have to "deposit" enough coins into your auctioneer account first, then trade, then "withdraw" the gold. There are deposit/withdraw buttons at the bottom of the gold trading dialog box.

    It's not very user-friendly but it does work - in detail:

    Go to the Auctioneer choose Gold Transaction
    Deposit enough coins to cover your Gold transaction (easiest way is to deposit ALL your coins - you can withdraw again after)
    Set the price you wish to pay for the Gold AND the number of Gold you wish to buy
    Confirm the transaction
    THEN
    Withdraw the Gold (again Max is simplest way) plus outstanding coins if you used max for those
    NOW you can spend your newly-bought Gold in the Boutique.

    It works, it's quick and my other Cleric now has a new top (need some more money for a skirt now).

    Thanks in particular to DeliaLotus but to all contributors - the wedding is now a possibility again b:laugh

    Oh and if you see a shop by failine (my ingame fiancee) please spend freely b:chuckle - we need another couple of million.
