First off please specify your OS.

    Easy way.
click start in windows and click run. In run type DXdiag.exe or even search computer for the file.
It will display everything you have. Then.
Take the information it gives you and post it so you can get more help.

This actually sounds like an issue with your video card. I'm gonna need to get some additional information from you. Go to Start, click on Run (or Search if you're using Vista), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:

Sorry, missed the "Please list the following from your DXDiag" on my cut and paste.

There are some slightly updated graphics drivers for that chip. That said, the ProSavage does most DirectX 8 functionality through software, rather than hardware, and uses system memory rather than its own dedicated memory; it's a very borderline card for modern gaming.

    What I found is:

    Driver: s3gnb.dll
Description: S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR (Microsoft Corporation)
    Version: 6.14.10.12
    Width: 1024
    Height: 768
    Format: 22
    Texture memory: 56 MB
    MaxTextureWidth: 2048
    MaxTextureHeight: 2048
    SquareOnly: no
    EVBM: no
    Vertex Shader: 3.0
    Pixel Shader: 0.0
    Smoothing: no

The no pixel shader support is what is killing you. I think your hardware needs to have pixel shader support 1.4 or 2.0 and higher for the game to run properly. It may not be exact, but it is the same family as your hardware.

I also do not think it is powerful enough, or have enough memory to handle the game well in software rendering either, like Gattsuru said.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I'd recommend trying this driver first.

The graphics card is actually a physical device, in the case of the S3 ProSavage series a small chip directly on the motherboard about the size of a dime. If you owned a desktop computer, it'd be possible to add a separate PCI, AGP, or PCIexpress physical card, and then install that card. I think your computer is a laptop, though, so it's likely impossible to easily upgrade, and usually cheaper to go with another, better laptop. The drivers merely provide an interface between your operating system and the graphics card or graphics chip.

You want the driver labelled S3G_ProSavageDDR_winxp_v139433.exe if you are running Windows XP or Windows 2000. If you are running Windows 98, 95, or ME, please use these drivers. You do not have to uninstall other drivers first, but uninstalling any earlier ProSavage display drivers from your Add and Remove Programs menu is strongly advised for performance and reliability reasons.

If that didn't work, I'd recommend sending the Tech Support department a reply including a HijackThis log and a DxDiag log.

To make a HijackThis log :
Download HijackThis. I personally prefer the executable. Run HijackThis (installing if you choose the installer rather than executable), and accept the license agreement after reading it. Click the "Scan and Save Log File", and allow the program to run. You should have a NotePad pop up with the contents of that list. Save it to your Desktop, preferably with a name that identifies it as yours.

To make a DXDiag log, Go to Start, click on Run (or Search if you're using Vista), and type in dxdiag and press enter. Click the Save All Information button, and use it to save the file to your desktop, preferably with a name that identify it as yours.

Send both of these files with your response.
