Seeking Advice/Suggestions

I'm a little confused on what I need to do with my BM. I just started a week ago and last I remember I was lv 22. (leveling seems way slow in PW).

I've decided to go Axe/Polearm so I can have AoE for pve and polearms for pvp. I want to wear heavy armor but this is where I get confused. BMs are not tanks but I've been building mine like one. Str + Vit. I can kill only 2 mobs of the same level before I have to sit out and heal. My acc is 80% which isn't fun as a loathe seeing strings of "missed" hits while watching my HP quickly drop. It isn't working and isn't fun. PVE is a chore. Takes me 1-2 hours to finish a "kill 25+ of this mob" quests because they hurt me so much.

So what do I do so I can pve smoothly without having to rest every time I kill something? I'm really only interested in pve since I have a long ways to go. Pvp can wait. Should I scrap the heavy armor and stop raising vit? Switch to Swords and wear only evasion accessories?

I suppose I'll get a "y u no serch 1st nub?" but that's ok. I did and am still not clear on what to do. Maybe get some build guides stickied wink wink nudge nudge.

    Now that we got that out of the way... How are you adding your stats? You should be adding at least 1 dex/2 levels and a minimum of 6str/2 levels if you're only going PVE. Stats may vary of course...

    Is your equipment up to date? You should use Life Powders(Nectar/Golden Herb) which are a huge help.

    21 dex
    5 int

    I'm lv 21 almost 22. I think my equip is up to date. Whatever I can't make I try to find on auction. I have 2 two star armors and a 2 star wep.

    I do make powders but it's extremely time consuming. 15 nectars and 10 silvias takes a long time to collect at 1/2 per node. Don't even like having to use one since they're so much of a pita to make.

    First thing first, one of my guild member (in my local PW server) tried to go for Axe/Polearm build. He stops because of it's being too costly^^

    So what to do with a BM? Here's a little guide:
    1. Never leave your Vit. BM must be able to tank damage.
    2. Add decent amount of Agi, especially Sword and Spear build
    3. Never add too many Str. Even at level 40+, 30 Str only means 100 more damage. So it's quite useless.
    4. In sum, Str & Agi = Weapon/Armor requirement, and the rest goes to Vit.

    At level 60+ I can kill 60 monsters in around 50 minutes with the help of potions and meditating. If rushing with the recovery medicines, I can get 60 monsters in 30 minutes, taking the medicine every 20-24 monsters.
