Is this normal?

I was doing a quest the planeshark don thing, and well I started loosing HP and sense im on a laptop its slightly harder to control, anyway an undine supream killed me, when i went to town and lost some of my exp, i had also lost MY PURE WATER wtf does this always happen when an undine supream kills you or was it a glitch?

    first question: did you PK anyone within the last 10 hours?

    if so, then you lost the water due to the precentage chance to drop carried items that occurs when you die regardless of source of death, this chance increases with the more people you kill or assist in the killing of.

    obviously the XP loss needs no explaination, that is the penalty for getting smote. The item loss however is not something I have personally encountered, so if you are PK free then I have no real idea why you lost the water.
