Price and availability of molds (specifically The Penetrator)

Hey,

I've been planning a little bit on how my character will level and what he'll equip in the semi-near future... and with that in mind, I've put my eye on two weapons: Annihilator of Souls (fist), and The Penetrator (bow). Obviously seeing as both of these are legendary, I'll have to acquire the molds. So last night I bought an Annihilator of Souls mold through the auction house for 150k. Currently I have somewhere between 600 and 700k left (counting the 100k or so I have in the Gold system and a stockpile of DQ items which I sell in a shop sometimes), and I'm trying to figure out how best to acquire a mold of The Penetrator.

Right now these are my questions:
1. Are some molds rarer than others, and if so, is there a list of rarity? I see some molds (Annihilator of Souls, Wind and the Clouds, Wheel of Fate, Armor of Barbarian Shaman, etc.) in the auction house all the time, but never the bow I'm looking for (or any bow or crossbow, really, aside from Moonlight Bow).
2. Would anybody know offhand how much a Penetrator mold goes for? (Or heck, does anyone have one to trade? :P)

    I assume since you know of this weapon you used a external database to find it. Its simply a matter of finding out what drops it and how likely it is that anyone will be killing it. Some bosses are more popular to kill.

    For that bow you want the databases I looked at seem to indicate it is never dropped by any boss. It is strictly a extremely rare world drop.

    So the number that even exist for people to sell must be extremely low. With they nutty prices people pay for more common molds you can expect a outrageous price on this item.

    Do not worry too much about these level weapons the twightlight temple weapons are better and easier to obtain.

    Alright, I can accept that this is going to be an impossible item to get without crazy luck. :P

    But what's the deal with the twilight temple, anyway? Is there a guide for it? I see the materials from it alone sold for hundreds of thousands in the auction house. How exactly are twilight weapons easier to get?

    Basically you get to level 60 get a friend or 2 and farm it over and over until you get the drops you need. Not real tough since veno can really solo it.

    You could just buy all the drops from other players I guess rather than farm your own. Since more and more people are able to farm this the prices have been dropping a little.

    Go to the area with all the kettles and click on the ones for the twilight. You will find all kinds of green stuff you can make.

    Yeah... that doesn't help those of us who didn't have the... "sense" to choose Venos, though. ;[

    Eh, I'll just settle for Wind and the Clouds until I can start gathering twilight stuff, I think.

    The Penetrator is acquired through dragon questing.

    In every races starting location you'll see a guy called the 'Dragon Herald' click on him and have a look through the options and eventually you'll come across an option for the penetrator (sorry i cant remember the selections, its under mold i think).

    You'll need to collect up 50 copper dragon orders and 10 silver dragon orders. To buy these it'll be about 25k per copper and 200-250k per silver order. Its a very expensive mold for a weapon that will only really last for 10-15 levels max depending on slots/gems.

    Yes, I'd temporarily forgotten that. I have one copper order. That's it... so yeah, I think I won't get this wep.

    penetrator is beasty its 10 silver and 50 copper so its a lil over 3 mil to make, at 38 you should focus on sinister shooter which i havent seen in ah last few days but it was typically around 700k and can last you until 60 TT wep

    Thanks, I'll consider it... but if I'm going to spend 700k on a weapon I'd sooner get Wind and the Clouds. So I might get the Sinister Shooter if I see it for somewhat cheap... otherwise I'll stick with crafting standard weapons. :P Also, I don't see myself getting a Twilight wep anytime soon, so...

    wind and clouds is lvl 69..... thats after your first TT wep (lvl 60)

    also Evil Den doesnt seem to be available in game, get armor of barb shaman for lvl 40ish

    In all of the main cities you have an NPC called the 'Auctioneer'. Look him up and talk to him. One of his options is buying and selling throught the auction house.
