My first impression + Some questions!

I was really psyched this morning when PW was at 99% and I was all ready to extract, install and whatnot untill I got stopped by that evil update bar that kept stopping at 99% teasing me like I was a broke fat boy window shopping at a candy store. Finally I got it to work and so I preceded to making my character who tot his minute I think is opting for a sex change. Can't seem make him look manly enough. Not that I want him to be really manly just, don't want him to look like my cousin, but that's another story.

So there I was, it's game time! I thought to myself "I was expecting better graphics.." as a wandered around shooting giant mutated bugs and flowers. Of course it wasn't until later that realized that those were just the default settings and now I am quite happy with how everything looks. A random person invited me to a squad to and this is where I will reveal my first nooby question. Just how the hell do you leave a squad? I accepted out of politeness but very soon after I joined I realized I had to run in 5 different directions to do a couple quests. I just didn't think I would be a good squad mate if I was running in all sorts of directions ignoring the pack so I did the only thing I could... I ignored the pack hoping they would see that I was MIA and boot my from the group. However they didn't and the squad bar just sat there trying to beat me in staring contest. Unfortunately it won. =(

After a couple more quests I had the option to become I tailor. Yay I can make clothes! But I couldn't because I needed logs and to get the logs I needed a tool and to get that tool I had to go find some merchant who I swear is running around playing marco polo with me only this time when I say marco I hear nothing... Then I jumped in the water and found out that I could shoot magical arrows things while I swim! That was oddly the highlight of my day.

If anyone has actually read this all the way through I thank you for reading about my first day and hope you will answer my questions.

    how do u leave a squad? just click on your icon (the one on the top left) I think u have to right-click it (sry, try it both ways right and left you'll see) then a box apears there you can click on leaving the squad.

    you can buy the tool at a merchant... on the second page. it costs a little so remember to kill some mobs before so you have the money that's needed. also when u see something that you don't need but its harvestable collect it and sell it, every bit of money is important!

    u need to shoot arrows underwater because there are monsters u need to kill... i hate being under.... but glad u like it!

    The game takes awhile to learn, especially finding your way around but soon you will know the cities quite well....I assume you are an elf. Hey you can fly you know !
    Stay with it because it is worth the effort, I have been playing a month and am still finding things out.

    Yha, ive been playing for a little over a week and im learning a lot! dont feel stupid for asking all the noob questions, there are people who will tease you and people who will help you, so keep asking and youll get tons of info and even new friends! p.s. i think the merchiant is somewere neer the north gate...Good Luck!
