Can't minimize the game without closing it after

Everytime I'm playing and have to do something on another program other than PWI I always find myself having to close the game through the task manager.

Here's what happens:

I press Alt+Tab or that "windows" button that opens the Start bar and that always minimizes full screen programmes for me and, whenever I re-maximize the game to continue playing, after I click anything with my mouse the game automatically minimizes again and I have to terminate the game's process and log in again to continue playing!

Is there anyway to stop this from happening? Any help is appreciated

Well, I still prefer playing in full screen rather than window but it would be great to have a solution for this problem. Maybe somebody will be able to help...

The most reliable fix seems to be playing in windowmode though sometimes it does get fixed by installing the newest drivers and the East Asian Language pack.

Here some links for the drivers.

    Microsoft Direct X:

    Nvidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    ATI: http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

Omega Drivers (only for people who are comfortable with using modified drivers):
    http://www.omegadrivers.net/omega_drivers.php

As for the East Asian Language pack try this and see if it works for you:

    1. Insert your Windows XP CD
    2. Go to Control Panel
    3. Go to Regional and Language Options
    4. Click on the Languages Tab
    5. Click on the Install files for East Asian Languages checkbox and make sure that it's checked.
    6. Click on the OK button for the dialog box that appears.
    7. Click on the OK button of the window to close it, and begin the installation.

If you are using Windows 98, 2000 or ME, follow this link for instructions:

Well, I've tried updating the graphics card and it's still the same and I'm currently searching my house to see if I can find my XP SP2 CD to install the language pack. I'll post here if it works. Thanks anyway fr all the great help!!

The East Asian Language Pack support helps for many things. Disconnects, crashes, ALT+TABing, and more.

That is the downside to it being developed in the Chinese language first, and then played on non-Chinese computers.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I had this same problem, I seriously doubted the validity of installing a language pack to cure my issues.

    However......

After installing the Language pack all the problems (espically the one your describing) disappeared. I can now Alt+Tab to my little hearts content.

I know it seems weird, but it does work. If you can not find your Windows XP disc, PM me here on this forum I have an alternate solution you can use.
