a few questions b4 i do a inter-reset all

1. can i just have 0 dex?
2. should i have 0 vit or at least 5?
3. str=wpn/armor mag=rest?

just curious...b:pleased

    Pure str is for heavy armor(you will be pwned by anyone with a decent magic damage because you lack HP and elemental defense).

    You want 1 str and 1 dex and 3 mag every level for minimun requirement of light armor(balanced between physical defense and elemental defense).

    Vit is not needed, you can just get items with sockets that you can embed +hp soulgems in(5 vit is just 50hp... one higher level soulgem will add more than that).

    Light Armor is for pvp builds, if you HAVE to have pure int... you will find it difficult to not rely on hieros to replenish hp(I am using light armor, and I still think physical creeps hit too hard...).

    I'm a pure Mag, and I have no need for Hieros. I rarely get hitted (Even by long range monsters).

    I also rarely get hit, but when they do hit me... it takes a huge chunk off my hp bar.

    for my mage, I build up Dex and Mag as the main, then the next level I increase Str and Vit one point then the rest in Mag.

    that's how my build is. it's nice having a decent amount of hp just in case, but if you also focus the points into Dex your Evasion will increase and thus you will less likely be hit as well.

    Ok...to actually answer your questions:

    1) No, you cannot have zero dex. I believe the minimum is 5 for dex.
    2) No, you cannot have zero vit. I *know* the minimum is 3.
    3) yes, str for a wizard (well, everyone really) is used to wield weapons and armor. If you are pure int you'll need 1 str every 2 levels. If you want light armor, you'll also need a point of dex. Magic stat is also used for arcane armor and magic-type weapons.
