yeah if i get a new computer will i have to download the game on that one as well

    the characters will not be affected. You might be able to copy-paste the program files from the old computer to the new one.

    Your characters are saved on the servers and not on your computer. You could go to any of your friends computers that have the game installed on it and log in right away and play.

    After downloading a big game like Perfect World or any other that is a couple gigs or more to download, I always burn a copy of it to a DVD for a backup. There are times that you either have to reformat your computer, or the game glitches to the point where you have to reinstall that having a backup is handy instead of having to wait to download it again. It also makes it easy to make a copy for your friends to get started with the game after they see you playing it heh. Just some advice anyways.
