Just downloaded the game and no updates

So I just downloaded the game and when installing I did all the verifications and yatta yatta. Then when I start the client I get the little square window (similar to the WOW launcher) and where I am assuming game news and etc would be displayed it says "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" So I thought not such a big deal but now when I click to update the game I set up all the update setting and then it says
"Update server connection fails"
"Please try other update server"
Now unless I am mistaken the only update server available is called "patch".
Now I have turned off every single piece of anti-virus software I have and all my firewalls are off. And I have ran it as administrator.
It seems like there is no solution. Are there servers down or something?

    It works for me is anything blocking it?

    The servers are currently up. Have you checked for programs like PeerGuardian, or your Windows Firewall?

    If you're using firewalls like Comodo, merely turning off the firewall may not work; you'll need to add an explicit exception. Look at your firewall's help or forums for detailed information on how to do that.
