Lets be friends on Ventrilo

I don't know if a lot of you guys use ventrilo, but now that the game is about to begin I would like to formally invite you all to join my friends and I on Ventrilo. We are a public Ventrilo that is a combination of many games, Perfect World now added as one of them. We are a very large Ventrilo communtiy that plans to have 250 rooms open come September. If you wish to join but don't wish to go through the whole "membership" hassle, don't worry. Guests are welcome in as long as they are respectful and courteous to other users.

There is no commitment and now that it is Open Beta I hope to see more committed players on daily!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any channel mod or admin, and they will be glad to service you. My personal office (Dr. Bean's office) is located right below the general chat, which is right below the entrance lobby. Also remember that you don't have to go to the Perfect world channel ,feel free to browse all open channels.

Instructions on how to get ventrilo working:

Incase you are a new time user and wish to get on vent (with or without a mic), here is how to install Ventrilo and operate it in a few easy steps.

1 Download Ventrilo here: http://www.ventrilo.com/dlprod.php?id=1
2. Open the Ventrilo icon on your desktop.
3. Create a username by clicking the little boxed arrow ->
4. Click on the -> next to server and enter in the information given above.
5. Connect to Ventrilo and please enjoy yourself in our community.

Personal statement:

This is a large multi-game ventrilo server. I am a long-time notorious game hopper, and I've found that by hanging around with people from different games you may find games that are looming in the horizon as well as games that could supplement your own. I also believe that you can make a lot of new and different friends on this vent, so once more I invite you personally to come on this ventrilo server and enjoy yourself.

    I think this should be off topic.
    Asking for friends doesnt relate at any way with PW.
    Plus it's not healthy to make friends in a virtual world o.O

    I perfectly agree, it is better to play in a virtual world alone, wandering around and feasting on the corpses of rotting pandas... yes .. indeed... no but really, if your going to play a game that is grinding 24/7 its good to chat while your grinding, anyways thats my take on it... ALSO, mind you this is open for perfect world users, it has something to do in the form of aide and it is GENERALLY for Perfect World, har har har.

    Yup I guess your right, grinding with someone to talk to makes it way easier.

    I guess thats why I tell my friends always to come to online games ;)

    Oh., as an update.. remember to tell all your friends about the vent, and remember, all guilds who wish to have their own channel in this vent (and has active vent activity) can apply for a clan channel

    Oh goody... More people should think about joining! *winks*

    I've been a frequenter on his ventrilo server since may. When its active its Really active, and when its not... well its a bit like an empty highway. But nonetheless people should join! I completely agree with talking while grinding. It dissipates the boredom!

    Hey people, I am new to the forums and this game. Actually I haven't even started, yet. Just got to hit play. It's a big channel, but I don't see Perfect World in the list of channels.

    I am currently playing:
    Tribal wars for probably about a year.

    Played:
    Runescape for 2 years
    World of Warcraft for a whole year.

    So any help would be appreciated while I start a new adventure.

    I'm now at level 9, so let's do this people =). For some reason I can't hear anyone on the ventrilo server. Even though my speakers I can hear the game volume. I really dis-like using ventrilo. I might set up my own teamspeak, because I already have one. People need to hop on though and play.

    I checked this vent out today.

    Its just insane. Hundreds of channels.

    This calls for a new term to be invented. I call it "MMOVGS"
