For those of you who have issues with the update (and it's a large one tonight) we have the ever so popular manual patches here:

    Here for now the element and tasks.data.

    tasks.data
    elements.data

    I at least managed to figure out why it would only download the manual patch so slowly for me... My virusscan was running... Now in under 2 minutes already over 50% of it downloaded so am going to upload in a minute and make a separate thread which will be stickied.

    And with so many people downloading it may become even slower.

    Any hope of getting the patch off an external file sharing site like before? As always, the PWI server is timing out for the manual patch download, for me. Of course, the automatic update is timing out too.

    I am uploading now. I apologise I didn't realise my virusscan was running or it would have been faster. Kantorek and I were trying to figure out a way to get the patch hosted as he couldn't remember the password to the PWI Filefactory page and I couldn't get it downloaded while all I had to do was stop my scan. b:shocked It is uploading now and in the meantime I uploaded, in my above thread are the links, element.data and tasks.data. I'm so tired now and feel very stupid. b:bye

    Okay, I seem to have some trouble with new patching, and yes I tried both Manual and Automatically

    In automatically, first it runs smoothly, gives me few errors (such as to resume the patching so it retry automatically) ... after a while it gives me an computer error the one that tells you to send a bug..

    And manually, it tells me there is something wrong "Update files corrupted"
    (And now when I try to click on the patches once again...)

    And I tried to download those tasks and element files..
    You are currently downloading too many files at once. Multiple simultaneous downloads are only permitted for Premium Members.

    Please try again later or upgrade to FileFactory Premium for instant access.
    And no I wasn't downloading anything off this site :s every site I go to says the similar thing..
    b:angry I really don't want to buy Premium for those stuff cause they aren't worth it

    Any suggestions for me? I am losing hope to patch it any longer and be at the 40 patch..

    There is one from Filefactory and one from Mediafire I just had them checked by a friend of mine he had no trouble downloading them from either side. Just as a little sidenote.. have you tried restarting your computer and/or router as that may help at times?

    Yup, I am downloading your mediafire patch right now, if it didn't work again..

    I will think about restarting the comp. can't touch the router or my family members will start to fuss at me :x

    And thank you for replaying, I will let you know if it worked or not after downloading and restarting b:pleased

    Lmao..Okay it turned out that I am dopey, I thought that I had to put the patch into the game client it self...rather than clicking it XD sorry for the trouble I have caused >_<

    I have tried both of your mirrors and everything, downloaded the updates from the site itself and nothing works for me. It continues to tell me "UPDATE FILES CORRUPTED" so any idea what i should do????? If it matters it gets stuck at gshop.data right away when it opens and never goes any further than that. Then says "File download error retry?" hope this helps to solve my problem.

    It could be a networking issue. Please see the info contained in this thread, 1st post: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=75572

    You have to have access to change things on your network, because sometimes software updates or people change things without telling you.

    For the manual patches, we have 3 options:

    Make sure the game is shut down. Download the patch that you need. When it is done downloading, double-click on it, the front end menu will pop up, and the patch will apply itself. When it is down, exit the game. Restart the game, and you should be good to go.

    A big thank you to Kantorek, Darthpanda, Aryannamage and the rest of the PWE team for all your efforts in getting the expansion manual patch out so quickly. My girlfriend and I thought we'd be struggling for days to download the expansion and thus miss part of the 1.5 x experience event...but we got it installed right away with your help.

    Thanks for the link. I spent a couple hours trying to use the automatic update and kept getting updating errors. Used the Manual Patch link and got everything working in under 3 minutes.

    I have ver 44 and I still keep getting a message that there is a new patch. how do I fix this?

    Click on Verify on the front end menu and let it run its course.

    It might take a few tries if the first one doesn't work for you.

    how do I know if I got the newest patch? I keep getting the message that there is a patch.. where can I get new patch so I can download it

    what patch do I download.. I just download the game today.. and the other patches there are lower patch numbers
