Not quite new to MMORPGs, but a PW noobie... questions!

Hi! So far getting used to the game but have several noobie questions I need help in. I spent several hours and looked at several sites including this one but couldnt find the answers... b:question



-I am assuming one party(Squad) is limited up to 5-6 players correct?
-Are there alliances of squads available in this game?
ex)1+ squads linked together to form 1 alliance.

-Is there a way to 'search' for players other than the people in your friendlist in the world.
-Is there a way to search a region for players that are currently residing in that region you are searching.

-Currently I am a Elf Cleric(priest?). When picking gear, I usually see (at my lv22) three types of gear.
One that has high DEF w/attck+, a moderate DEF gear, and a low DEF gear with tons of elemental resist.
As a Cleric I should probably lean towards the elemental-ish gear but was also wondering, how does enhanced elemental resist affect magic in this game?
Does:
My ele resist > Mob ele resist =higher magic attck for me?
or is it a completely different stat that only buffs my resistance to mob spells against me?

-I've made Combo buttons in the game.
Aside from the pure emote fune types, the other is a bunch of attck skills bunched up into one button in a continuous streak. Are there more intricate macros/combos that you can make? ex)Ones that, say, show recast time or allows you to wait several sec. before making the next move in that macro/combo, etc, etc. (I understand that some gaming keyboards allow that input but aside from that)

-Is gear swapping possible in the game (whether it be macros or anything else)
ex)Say your a warrier fighting, and the mob decides to magic attck you. If you can swap in full elemental resist gear somehow it would probably help I would think. (Either macro or any other way other than manual since that takes time)

-When you join a guild, are you able to join multiple or only one?

    No

    -Is there a way to 'search' for players other than the people in your friendlist in the world.
    try to PM them, if they're online, you will not get any error. If they're not, well.. guess? because the error for offline and nonexisting players are identical.

    -Is there a way to search a region for players that are currently residing in that region you are searching.
    Press T , you should be able to check surrounding player. That's the closest thing to have.

    that one is.... dont know.

    no "wait" function in the macro, tried so.

    gear swapping is possible, but your character must fufill the stat requirement for each type of gear/armor. Check the armor stat requirement for that.

    -Elemental Resistance only affects damage you take when attacked with that element as part of a Physical or magical attack. Your magic stat, skills, or effects added to weapon effect your 'attack', effects added to armor or inherant resistances effect damage 'you' take.

    -Sorry, their is not a way to 'hot-swap' gear or weapons in this game aside from manually doing so with inventory window open and as posted above you must meet the requirements of both sets to swap even manually.
    Perhaps the greatest secret to getting along with others lies in learning to respect their opinion(s) even while you disagree with them.
