Basically, is the only way that I can level my pet's skills is buying them from Mrs. Zoologist? For a while I've noticed that I take aggro away from my pet a lot, even when I let them attack for a few and when I attack just once it immediately comes running after me, and my pet can't get aggro back onto itself.

I've got a magmite, and a foxwing, my 3rd slot reserved for just experimenting with pets, but is the only other way taming a higher level pet with a higher flesh ream skill to keep aggro off me (and keeping me alive?)

I also don't want to replace my magmite or foxwing, I just love them too much ;-;

    Yes, upgrading aggro skills for tank pets is necessary. Suuuuure it's 200k, but you don't have to upgrade for another 20 levels, assuming the skill was already maxed. >_>
    88 FIRE! An "anti-tank" projectile, accompanied by an AC-130 are on their way to ensure insanity.

    >< And if it's level 1.. Then I will eventually have to spend about 1.2 mil on maxing the aggro skills? D'aww..
    Well thank you ^-^

    I had problems early on with my magmite not holding aggro too well, but he seems to have rounded out some since then and at my current level (53), I don't seem to have that problem much anymore, mine is of the crystaline variety and has not been(and will not be) upgraded.

    On foxwings I think you're probably better off just grabbing one with a higher level flesh ream..... the lvl 54 Terrestrial Foxwing comes with level 3 flesh ream and level 2 howl...... currently I'm using a snatchfoot foxwing, and he's about to be replaced with the terrestrial as soon as i hit lvl 54
