Is it normal for BM?

OK... I think I just stuffed up my BM... BAD!

Coz right now im lvl21. When I try to kill other lvl21 monsters i get all the way down to half health...
Just wondering if that's normal?

    That does not sound normal, but I can't tell what may be wrong without more info. It may be the type of monster you are trying to attack or the way you are trying to attack it. Of course, it could also be your stats or skill choices which would be harder to fix but likely not impossible at level 21.

    I can not say that that sounds normal to me either but I can suggest you take up apothecary until you get it figured out. Spend about and hour going around and picking herbs and you can make some nice things. My personal favorite on my BM is the Life Powders that add 50hp regen per sec. Makes me darn near invincible. Thats lvl 1 apothecary too so you dont even have to spend any sp on it. You can also decompose your equipment that you dont need and make the little card looking things that increase your physical attack (sry cant remember name).

    Hope that helps till you get it figured out at least.

    I was trying to kill those monsters just outside Archosaur west gate.

    My charac info (BM using blades):
    1. Attributes
    - Vit-24
    - Str-45
    - Mag-5
    - Dex-48
    2. Skills (that I actually use):
    - Drake Ray lvl 4
    - Aeolian Blade lvl 1
    - Steam Strike lvl 3

    My Equipment are the best I could buy for my lvl (I hope) and I've virtually done nothing in the manufacturing skills...

    Skills I use in battle i mean. i got that aura of golden bell and that cloud sprint as well

    u use light or heavy gear?
    if heavy then u r weak against monsters who do magic dmg to you
    if light then your def is somewere in middle, both - phys and mag monsters will do pretty much dmg to u

    manufactured weapons and gears r better than bought ones from npc.

    Okay, it looks like you are building a moderately DEX-heavy dual swords build (roughly 2 STR, 2 DEX, 1 VIT every level). You are committing to light armor (or to heavy that is a bit behind level) and the level 20 set is the first time that will bind (since it needs 52 STR) with the heavy getting further out of reach every level (it needs 2.5 STR per level to keep up). This is a build that emphasizes a quick kill - high hit rates and high crit rates that will come in later - and which relies more on evasion for physical defense than on heavy armor. For magical defense, you have the light armor and a relatively high HP base but not the evasion advantage since magic always hits. Most BMs in the area just outside Archo are bugged by the poison attacks, but you are probably having relatively more trouble with the trees and blobs (since your DEX advantage has not really started to kick in hard yet). That is not really a problem with your build, just a fact that you have an okay defense against all the mobs instead of a strong one against some and weak against others. If you don't like that balance, consider sacrificing some VIT to build up STR - making you hit hard as well as often at some more risk against magic mobs.

    However, one thing that would help you a lot is to not be using dual blades (or swords) at this point even if that is your ultimate build plan. The FB19 reward scythe is a big help. If that isn't an option, you should look for some other way to enhance your hit power since you are sacrificing STR (and hit power) for your DEX.
