This is happening to me too and it's annoying me because I really want to play...
My pass and username are right, my internet connection is fine and stable, and I even tried turning my virus protection off and nothing works!!!!

The servers are up, and there are no backbone issues anywhere in the Continental United States that I can find. Please check for any program blocking TCP port 29000 outbound or the ElementClient, including the default Windows Firewall, PeerGuardian, or a hardware or software firewall. Some security software, such as Norton or Comodo, will not work simply by turning them off; you do need to add an exception explictly.

Nobody seems to know what's going on o.o

Nothings blocking the 29000 port, I opened it up on the firewall menu. I don't know what to do...

I only had the windows firewall running at the time. I even disabled it for a second to try playing again and it still didn't work.

Neither Norton nor McAffee will completely disable all their feature due to an expired tag; some basic functionality stays installed. Completely uninstalling those programs from the Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs wizard may help. Please look for other programs such as PeerGuardian, Comodo Firewall, AVG, et all.

If the software is expired, all it will do is remove some of the hooks the security software uses; it probably will not be providing good security at all. If the software is currently active, you should be able to provide an exception for ElementClient and TCP port 29000.
