new patch problem?

I had to manually download the newest patch (after the bronze kits were fixed) from the website, and that went well. But when I get into the game, the motion is very choppy. It's not like lag, where everything is a second behind or something (when I click on coins, for example. when i click to get them, i get them right away like normal - but the graphic motion is like stop-motion gone wrong). It's driving me crazy; West Archosaur is a bloody nightmare. The motion for me was fine, almost beautiful before this new patch. I don't understand what could be causing this, and any help would be absolutely wonderful.

Also, I've seen some people in chat with white names, but what they type is in green, which I thought was reserved for squad chat.

EDIT:
I've found a few other forum threads that claim to have problems that sprung up AFTER the latest patch.

Try running a Verify from the Launcher, and if that doesn't work, turn off Mouse Hardware Acceleration (Control Panel -> Mouse -> Pointer Options , Enhance Pointer Precision in Vista, something like Hardware Acceleration in XP) .

first off i do have a problem with the language pack... i know that much from a previous thread but unfortnately i have not yet found my Windows CD though i have 1 for another computer... i'm not sure it will work for i different computer but i'm willing to test the theory.. if i am to fail it would be nice to know if there are other possiblities to fixing the problem... my game crashes before it gets to the login screen and throws up the chinese writtin error... does the language pack even fix the error or just shows what it says? ill post back when my test is over...

The Language pack may fix the error. It won't make the error readable in any circumstances, due to how Windows handles error messages. Any version of Windows XP should have the proper data for the language pack (potentially excluding some specialized manufacturer-built CDs)

If that does not resolve the issue, can you list the following fields from a DXDIAG?
System Tab - System Information box -
    Operating System :
    Processor :
    Memory :

Display Tab - device box -
    Name:
    Chip Type:
    Approx Total Memory:

Display Tab - driver box -
    Main Driver :
    Version :
    Date:

    To open a dxdiag :
In Vista, type dxdiag in the Start menu search bar
In other versions of Windows, type dxdiag in the Run command (Start > Run).

Please do not use any symbols other than alphanumerics, commas, and periods.

i can do that... btw i didn't find the other windows disc i had... in fact i tried to see if i can download the Asian Language pack first... no luck...

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1 build 2600)
    Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.53GHz
    Memory: 2046MB RAM

    Name: NIVIDIA GeForce 6200
    Chip Type: GeForce 6200
    Approx Total Memory: 256.0 MB

    Main Driver: nv4_disp.dll
    Version: 6.14.0011.7516 (English)
    Date: 5/2/2008 21:46:00

Not the best but it has done a good job of handling even high end games such as GoW2 or Cod4 and 5. The graphics card is PCi regular btw... not PCi express.

You may want to get the most recent updates for your graphics card. If that doesn't work, you may need to contact Microsoft or your computer's manufacturer; they may be able to provide the necessary files for East Asian language support.

Believe it or not. I managed to find my actually Windows CD for my computer... I installed the language pack and started the game, but it still throws up the error before it even comes to the login screen. Even worse the error is still in chinese. Maybe not even chinese, but still unreadable which could have benifit me still if I could understand it. Updating my graphics card didn't help either. Any other suggestions. Is it possible that reinstalling or updating may fix the problem. Do relize I played this wounderful game in both closed beta and open beta for when it first appeared in U.S. I had no such problem. Even when international version came out I was able to play until the patch 40 came out.

nvm all is well and no more error... all i had to do is uninstall and reinstall... now i'm going to try playing the game... i did relize that i had to download 32-37 patch and 37-40 patch to completely update so the file used for automatic update in which the updateserver.txt file was relpaced with another used in "Installing and Updating" thread only works up to patch 32 then any other patch is obiviously broken.
