Not exactly. They are using a php based forum with a number of hard coded modifications to change shape, form and functions to suit their ideal. PhP isn't an easy thing to code, and when under heavy load somethings tend to bend a bit (an example would be the dbl post of mine you see, that I still don't).

example... find the error in the code below. it's a very simple error... there is a missing { can you find it?

Now you can understand how difficult coding php can be. Thats a VERY small section of ONE page from a forum I run. That missing { could cause the entire forum not to function. Errors happen, and as I said, sometimes their exceptionally difficult to track down due to the volume of pages you have to search.

I was going to reply to the original topic and poster but . . . after skimming and seeing the amazing amount of insults and flaming that goes on for about 4 pages. . . only to come to the end to find a monstrously large post riddled with quotes . . .
I've come to the conclusion that you are all a bunch of losers. Goodluck, with that.
Also i think I saw a thread without any of your alls garbage in there, so be sure to hit that up if by the end of this you have not already searched and destroyed it.
One last thing, it was 7am - 8am when you all did this, so my (rhetorical) question, to all of you flaming, is: Do you wake up refreshed and happy for a beautiful new day, or do you intentionally ruin others as your first order of business. It is sad that I already know the answer by looking at a few pages of your broken and ultimatley worthless attempts at being intelligent.

I never said coding was easy i said getting the forum working is a basic thing and it is. How long has this forum been up and most of the options on it do not work? nevermind the bugs they should of been fixed BEFORE the forum was made public so yet again you trying to prove you are more intelligent or whatever you are trying to do is pointless because what you said had nothing to do with what i said
As for thinking that you did look at the notes I'm sorry if i missed the bit you wrote in brackets but you still haven't said that they were in the notes prior to the update so your argument is based on an assumption then is that correct?
You say that its not a double post but in the same sentence say that you posted it by itself....yeah because if you posted twice it would not be a double post would it

I'm sorry can you just turn of PK mode on a PVe server whenever you want? because I said that you can't to the person since they thought you could but you are disagreeing with me. Since they do not know that and even said they do not care about PVE server's clearly you must be the only one that is capable of enlightening us with your huge capacity to twist words to make you seem more intelligent to yourself

Ok I'll address this one section at a time for you....
I am not twisting anything to suit me, I am stating my views on it. I don't particularly care if I "win" or "loose" anything, You and I seem to have a series of mis-communications, and while you don't have to agree with me on how I view the subject, just as I don't have to agree with how you view it, perhaps if we can sidestep our egos (mine included here) so we can have a reasonable discussion?
hmm concerning the forums, I code PhP and MySql for a living. I wasn't trying to show anything other than the complexity involved in forum software and how modifications, code changes, etc can cause issues to creep in that can be extremely difficult to find and fix. Bugs sadly are not cut and dried. They often don't show up until long after something has been installed and ran for a while. I don't pretend to know why they haven't been fixed by now, i'm just stating that they can be hard to find.
No I stated and I will repeat it here, I initially tried to post the dictionary reference as an edit to my post but it didn't show for me in the edited post, so I posted it by itself, if that showed as a dbl post, I can't see it myself and I appologized if it had. I can't do anything to correct that if I can't see it.
Yes my statements are based on an assumption that the information was in the patch notes. "Usually" that type of information is, and is available prior to a patch. To be honest, I haven't taken the time to go seeking it, and therefore I am assuming it's there. My experience with MMO suggests this to be the case, but there is always the possibility that I am totally wrong with THIS MMO.
I never said that I can just turn PK mode on and off. Nor was I disagreeing with you concerning that. I was stating that you were making an assumption that they didn't have a PvE server character and knew nothing of the PVP mechanics on them. As for myself, it took me a while to get cooled down so I could turn PK off... I slept through that waiting period while my poor little character sat all by herself in one of my favorite little reclusive hiding spots lol. TBH I wish the cooldown was faster. I'd love to be able to turn PK on and off at whim instead of painting a fat target on myself to every lvl 50+ for hours at a time.
On the contrary, I know exactly what that dictionary reference means.. the question is, do you? Lets toss the dictionary reference aside and continue with the conversation then shall we?
As for looking intelligent to myself... b:laugh I know my IQ, I don't need to "look" nor am I twisting anything, I'm merely pointing out to you, how I see what your saying or trying to say, or not saying. My view is that it IS fair. I think everyone had just as much opportunity to get a JB or not and my responses to your statements, are a reflection of this. You have stated it's not fair, others knew etc and I have stated counter arguments to those statements.

I would dispute your facts to be quite frank. And no, I never stated you were badmouthing the GM's or were even acting like you were. Nor have I implied it. So I have no clue where you pulled that out.
You have made a number of complaints. I quoted them for you. Your "facts" are not "facts" I could tell you monkey's fly and give you a picture of one doing so, but that does not mean that's a fact. People can say they "knew" the JB was being removed and that's why they have a new one, but that doesn't mean it's true, unless it was in the patch notes, and they read it there. It's highly unlikely that a GM would pass that kind of information on to players, so yes I assume it came from the patch notes and that's where they got their information. But to be completely honest, it's not within the realm of impossibility for a GM to "cheat" to help their friends... the T20 incident in the History of EvE Online shows it's possible.
I don't need to prove anything to myself, I'm debating this with you for the enjoyment of the debate, not for any results or rewards from it. And as for your last statement... I wasn't aware this was an argument, I was under the impression that you and I were involved in a discussion??? Or did I miss something somewhere where it turned from a discussion into an argument in your mind?

Patch notes for the Nov 25th patch can be found here They knew because they took the time to know, although from the comments within that thread, it seems that patch notes might be relatively new to PWI, I can only suggest that this is a good thing and I would bet Xarfox had something to do with it it...

even if those patch notes were released before the update which as far as i know they was not and was released after doesn't change the fact that the only way to make it fair was to exploit
Yes the problems with the forums could be hard to find but they should have been found before it was made public and I seriously doubt they are even trying to fix them even now
I said about badmouthing the gms thread as an example of that what they are doing is whining and complaining the blessings got removed, the only thing I am complaining about is that the problems on this game that need fixing should be fixed not avoided and that thing's should be fair without having to exploit

I thought everyone should know I took a jones blessing right before it was removed naaanananananaaa.
Pking ppl doesnt give u stuff, it makes u a target to lose stuff.
Ppl are being ks'ed becuase they think they are above others and refuse to party, if ppl just started to realise partying = bonus exp and party for quests/grinds everyone would be happy.
Who cares in 6 days its all over, hopefully things like these will make all the annoying ppl quit the game so when its all over and done with we are left with the better ones.0 -
its only bonus xp if both people contribute to the killing. if one person just wants to leech why would someone want to party them.0

Let me help you back on track:
Removing Jones' blessing doesn't deal with KS'ers, being polite and curtious and partying up for mobs solves the problem.
Also the bonus exp is in effect just by being in a party, nvmd if only one person is killing. Let me explain again:
Killing a mob that would normally yield 300 exp would typically yield 160-170exp per person(if its a paty of 2) so as you can tell by using basic maths its MORE than the 150 you'd get for a 50/50 split.0 -
