I'm starting to see the systematic destruction of smaller guilds with the big destroying the small. At present, Radiance Evolution and Empire are the strongest.

With Empire being the strongest.

According to the current structure. The rich gets richer. And the poor stays poor.

Perhaps admin can find some way to bring more balance between guilds?

Don't forget bout RoC being one of the best guilds in PWI, I don't understand fully what you are getting at with the whole balance to the guild? Its perfectly fair that the stronger guilds get richer and richer, They've earned it obviously otherwise they wouldn't be winning TW's. If a smaller guild wants to get richer, Perhaps start grinding alot while getting XP at the same time eventually getting high enough levels and enough members to compete in TW. Simple really, I think your asking for a easy way for small guilds to make money :P?

The poor don't stay poor when they purchase Zen.

posted about this before OB ever started and got ignored. Nothing is going to change, thats how this game works.

Being from Evo I can say that we don't plan to take anything more because it would just be abusive.

If you haven't heard the rumors already, the TE leader decided to leave the guild, taking the entire guild bank with her. While the guild is still very well together we're pretty much dirt poor. b:cry

As nice as it would be, it's not like the other guilds are giving up as far as I know. It just requires your guild to pull together and work on raising your funds and levels to eventually participate.

Although you might not stay poor when you purchase zen ark, it's not an option for everyone. Some only play free to play games for a reason.
And i'm very sorry to hear that Hisui :/

Give on Etherblade :P?. As for that persons Zen comment, this game has it well imprinted in people that you can get rich quick if you buy your gold. Some people actually grind and do various things for gold, I think if you buy Zen to get 'Rich' on a game you are just pure lazy. Although if you do it to make some cash quick or benefit yourself (I.e safe extensions ect) its all good but to purely make yourself rich by giving REAL LIFE money for pixelated coins is pretty lazy:P No offense to anyone it's your choice just my two cents :P

Kinda on topic - Kill for DQ stuff and dont NPC it, Cat shop it :Pb:pleased

There is no way, because it's the system that's flawed.

In real life, if a football club is successful it means that good players want to go there because they can win titles there. If many good players go to the same club, it will become even stronger and dominate even more. Same for the money side - you win games, you will get more money to buy even more good players with, etc. That's why most pro leagues in the world are boring as hell to watch, since it's always the same 5 clubs who will win.

TW's design means that bigger guilds with higher level players will win over smaller guilds and lower levels. If a player interested in TW looks at the map, they want to go to the guild holding many territories. So those who are, are getting stronger and stronger while the weaker ones are getting drained even more. The most likely outcome is that in the end, one guild will own the entire map. Even now TW is pointless since I don't think any other guild would be able to attack any of the "big 4" and hope to win. If a high level player is interested in TW, they are likely to be in one of those guilds already anyway.

I still don't understand why most MMOs I know have PvP systems that are designed to allow only a handful of guilds even participate in, let alone winning anything. The only MMO having PvP worth mentioning was Guild Wars. Even smaller guilds could do GvG there and got matched against a guild of equal level/skill, meaning the match was fun and balanced. The other systems are either about mindless PK or hopelessly imbalanced "bigger guilds bash smaller guilds" things like TW.

Yes it sucks, but yeah it is a true fact of life, the pattern will always stay the same, anyone who says that a small guild can work hard and catch up is full of it. Large guilds have all the cards when it comes to recruiting, financing etc... Even in cases like what happened to TE. Their next weekly paycheck will still be more then 90% of the guilds will be able to pull together in 6 months, and no a small guild will not have their lower members catch up, generally after the first batch of 6 or so reaches TW competent levels, they get annoyed that their guild can't TW, and join one that can.

However it usually doesn't wind up with one guild taking the whole map, just 3 possibly 4 that will continue to feud between each other, and the good news is, by expanding, there's usually enough slots between the 3 guilds, to make room for 90% of able bodies who want to compete.

Yeah it would be nice if there were something like a minor league, but that will never change, it never does in any MMO. The only time a new guild will show up on the roster, will be because some drama tore appart one of the top guilds, and 90% of their members left and created a new guild. No that's not something new that's happened here, it's the cycle that I've seen in my previous 4 MMOs, and know to expect it again here.

    With Empire being the strongest.

I just wanna point out if Empire was the strongest I think they would of beat Roc, but they lost, meaning they arent the strongest.
