Can't select black ore

I can't click on black ores to harvest them. Any way of fixing this problem? The problem started with the latest patch....

    You can mine them when you activate a quest. This isn't a bug, it's just how the game works for black ore. Now if you started the quest and this is happening, then I don't have an answer.
