well i got 2 questions
1: i can recolor my wf tail ?(i'm downloading the game now so i ask before i get some tomatoes in the face)
2: can i change my user interface to greenish-blue?(i won't say how to do it tho)
this 2 questions are from plain curiozity
i won't do them if i don't have an aproval b:surrender b:surrender:

    I personally haven't found such an option ingame. Though that screenshot is of a GM account... I wouldn't be surprised if they can do that but I doubt we normal players can.

    this hasn't nothing to do with beeing a gm to change those things :)
    that's my account but those can be edited/modified in client side so it isn't a problem for me i was asking for aproval of usage tho...
    and every player can do that just a little extra knowlage of the game will do ;)

    Modifying your client side files in any way will result in an administrative action on your account.

    This was the answer from a GM to a similar question. Most likely it will get you banned I believe.

    since i'm still downloading the game there is no harm done :P
    one other thing ...the tail is a recolor wich is made with :
    ur created character saved,so once is saved is no longer client side...is kinda like a savegame from another game...(it can be moved/deleted without harming the game ) ...and than change the colors for the tail... it that's allowed or?
    hope u guys understand i ask for my knowlage and my knowlage only since when i get in game i won't like it if i'm banned and don't have a 100% reason :)
    (offtopic can't wait to get ingame 71% and rising ^_^)

    This kind of editing of data files is against the rules and can result in a ban.

    hmm that still didn't answer my question about the tail ... since that has nothing to do with data editing...is only playing with colors
    (the tail is considerated body so when colorized the body the colors change for the tail also but is not vizible when u duplicated a copy of the file and change ur color...like skin for exemple to black ...the body only changes to black when separate and use it from another copy the color of the black body only the tail will change ...and u can separate the colors that from the body itself...not sure if u get it but is the easyest way for me to explain...long story short from two character files saved[same file] manually u can color different things)

    From the answer by surtr... I personally take it this way.

    The only customisation done which are not against the rules are those done ingame. Like during the creation of your avatar or if you buy a beauty copoun and use that ingame. Any other are against the rules.

    If you change anything with the sliders and options from within the game, that is fine.

    If you copy, change, modify, etc; the ini files for your character outside of the character creation menu in-game, it can result in your character getting banned.

    That is my understanding.

    That screenshot looks like it is from another version, as our GM letters are not green. May be from another version and servers, some of which have bad reputations for shadiness.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    the blue-green interface and thingy with the green tag is a quick redo of the surfaces.pck :P (and btw are the same versions PWI client and the client i used for that server since here is 1.3.9)


    hmm see for urself
    didn't tooked the time to make the face normal color beacouse every 10 secs are 100mb for me...and let's say i don't have the best connection there is for upload(i blame fraps XD)
    and didn't uploaded to youtube since i got a limit of 100mb of uploading
    u can use special 1,3,5 to edit this since these are the original ones from MY-EN
    and now.... may i use my tail ?:P

    In this case, what you're showing is the result of a bug (that may be fixed in the future, just FYI), and that's fine. What you were saying earlier made it sound like you were making modifications to the .ini file to get the face to be a different color than the tail, and that's not OK.

    well time to make my WF XD ... and the face can be done also in game u have to use the other duplicate u made for it (like in my vid i used 2 saves) the other save is for face ... i actually stated that "i didn't tooked the time to make the face normal color"

    As I said, if what you're talking about involves manually editing the .ini files (and that includes "merging" two of them), that IS a bannable offense.

    no offence but this may sound offencive...are u for real?
    u ever did work with any of the ingame files...ever?or after all ur just a normal player with Ctrl+G on his hands?do u actually know the full posibilityes of "makeover scoll"? or even the normal edit button?
    this color thingy can be done in game also without merging those files those will remain 2 different files without touching the .ini files

    custom 1.3.9 made custom from 1.3.9 chinesse files that's only the surfaces.pck that does that can be swaped between versions
    the fashion is from 1.3.1 (80% sure if not is 1.3.6)

    Then please either upload a video or a series of screenshots to show me exactly what you're doing, because right now you're being quite vague on exactly what it is that you're doing and it's possible I'm missing something.

    is preety easy lol go change the first preset to same/similar colors
    than return to the main preset and change it to normal
    than go to normal with the other
    it might not work from the first hit but eventually only the face collor will change since the tail hasn't it's own collor(like others) in the ini file and the swaping get's the game "dizzy" i actually didn't acived the outcome for the black tail yet...(if u know the dupe bug that the 1.2.6 well the first days of it :P...had is like that 1 sec lag and u had an extra item ) and now i'm heading to sleep since is 2 am here

    and @TheShazzbot i can provide u the surfaces.pck to edit at ur own free will if u want...has few things that need edited XD map/duel/combat(like miss or crit)/etc are in russian...oh yeah and the extra items that this server has them re-textured need to be added in it :P

    the bottom line on this discussion, simply put, is that users are forbidden from editing ANY game files. this is a bannable offense.

    Also bannable is PW Private Server discussion/promotion. Seems that you are referring to and illustrating private server play in the examples you cite. Remember, this is not allowed on these boards. Consider this your first and final warning.
