not every teleport point can go to every other teleport point. There are limitations on this service. For instance, you cannot teleport to hidden heroes village from the city of the lost. Also, it does cost a certain amount of coins to teleport, and if you don't have enough, it won't work.

Any teleport location that you CAN go to will have a line connecting it to your current location of the tele map. If there is no line, then you cannot teleport to that location from your current one.

the other detail she did not point out is that with the exception of certain quests which will activate a teleport point, you will need to visit the teleport master in each town/village.

example: she mentioned Hidden Heroes Village to activate teleport between there and Ethersword you must speak to teleport master in 'both' ethersword and hidden heroes.

note: a teleport point once activated stays activated so other towns Walled stronghold, lumber camp when you visit that teleport master will remember all previous teleport points.

other way is to buy teleport map from Boutique which will activate 'every' teleport point on map
Perhaps the greatest secret to getting along with others lies in learning to respect their opinion(s) even while you disagree with them.

Also, how much does this cost? I am sorry if this is getting annoying, but I am a very frugal person, and do not want to spend one penny more than I have to.

for the most places it cost just 200 to teleport too, but the biger cities can cost 1000.
Haven't seen of the prices go up for the huge cities?

It depends I have seen 5000 for a short teleport and 200 for a long one. Like everything else in the game you have to use your money wisely here. Sometimes you will be able to teleport 2/3 of the way for 1/10 of the price as going to the end destination.
    Don't Sweat it.

no one rule about this, in general it cost less to travel between any two points sharing a center than to move between two center points (like Human City to Elf City), now if you are truly worried about getting absolute best value play a Wing Elf Cleric they can fly from lvl 1 onwards, regen Magic fast enough the cost of starter wings does not both them, and if you are willing to spend the time can fly between any two points on the map

From here Ive seen that the Monsters are super strong compared to me on level 3.(Im new) So now I cant get back without a monster killing me with one hit and me getting teleported BACK to Dreaming cloud! Can someone please tell me how I can get back to The Island of Broken Dreams so I can level up??

    Thanks!

it costs 3000 to teleport to archosaur and 8000 to teleport to dreamweaver port and 1k streams. not sure if there are any higher teleport costs (not including illusion stone)

If a person is stranded like this - best to ask people in the area to help you. Guys can pick up girls to carry them back, and once person I ran into ended up in the swamp and I escorted him back to TideBorn city (making a path by killing mobs in the way).

There are many kind people in the game, do not be afraid to ask. And if no one responds, do not let that discourage you.

It is possible to run back, but you have to be exceptionally careful

    Necro!

It is always possible to find a path which avoids aggro mobs and allows you to get where you're going. Just keep a sharp eye out and give all orange mobs a wide berth. (Enabling the mob display on the minimap helps here.)

omg! i did the EXACT same thing and was thinking how to get back to Island of Broken Dreams at least.
um, i'm only lvl 1, started yesterday, but I managed to make it to Arrowhead Manor by setting an Autotrack and manually moving out of the way to evade monsters.
So far, I've discovered that as long as you get to water deep enough to swim in, then you can swim anywhere undetected by monsters (curse the lakes for false hopes!). From Dreaming Cloud, a city I came to detest yesterday after many failed attempts to leave it, the same way I'm sure you did, it's not so hard to get back in the water, so once you do manage to get there I think the easiest way is to swim back, which is what I'm going to try in a bit. Actually I've been trying to get back using Teleportation Masters but couldn't get them to work that's why I came across this page.

But, you could just set your favorite song on Youtube and have the map open on Element Client and use w,a,s,d to just swim back according to the map. I don't think we can do anything much better as newbies right now :S
Sry don't think I really helped, but at least you know someone else did the same thing! lol. I'm on Dreamweaver as well.

If you do decide to keep moving on land as I did, be sure to try and stay on paths, and watch carefully. If a monster chases you, keep running away; eventually you'll outrun it. I just did this right now...it kind of worked, in the end. lol.
hope it helped a little bit [=

Please do not post in threads that have been dead for 30 days or more. This thread died in 2010. Thread necro is against the forum rules, just like thread hijacking.

I recommend reading the "PWI Community Forums: Rules of Conduct v1.0 - read meh!" thread for the full list of rules covering what you should and shouldn't do in these forums.
