Hi all ....

sorry if this question has come up before - but I have not been able to find it.
Have also been going through the database without finding any answers.

It is about the phi stones you get when you decompose your armour/weapon.

I have been at the jewelmaster and made them into higher level stones -
and I now have a little collection. My question is .. will there ever be a time
where these stones are needed in the game ?

Is there any use for them at all ?

I am asking because they take up a lot of room in my inventory - and if there
is no real use for them .. I will stop collecting them and get rid of them
instead.

    Chi stones (such as yiyuan stones) are used to charge Accelerate mode on aerocraft, are required to build some of the Charms, and sell for a pretty penny, too.

    Gem stones (such as Blemished Garnets) are used to fill sockets on equipment, providing a bonus matching the gem type.

    Oh thank you so much :)

    So it is not so bad to have them - or at least I can sell them then :)

    The Gem Stones I have used on weapons and armor .. with luck for the most part :)

    Chi stones are among the cheapest of all items in the game.
    But here is a tip when decomposing items, ALWAYS repair before you do it because the durability affects how many stones you get.

    The one thing i haven't managed to figure out yet is whether not not it pays to combine low level stones into higher level stones.
    It takes 3 level 1 stones to comine into one level 2 stone, but is the level 2 stone 3x better at rechargeing your aerogear?
