Vanguard & GPA

hi everyone

i have just hit lv39 and theres this new skill available and thats Greater Protective Aura which adds 60% def same as Lv10 Vanguard Spirit

i want to ask does the 2 buff stack? cuz i already have vanguard lv10.

    No, they don't stack. See, greater protective aura is the exact same as vanguard spirit lvl 10, but it lasts one hour and targets the whole squad, not just your target. Basically, it's an improved Vanguard spirit lvl 10.

    I'd also like to add that for a support cleric it's a must for obvious reasons.If you're a nuke cleric though,then it's a waste.

    even as a support cleric i'd put it off until you know you can afford it without sacrificing your heals or other buffs.

    it does nothing extra. just saves you a bit of time and mp. thus, is a luxury =)

    I nvr could work out the point of that spell cause i can buff 20 odd people in a couple of minuits anyway

    Plus i use macros so everytime the other buffs run out i rebuff that ne as well

    hence nvr buying it ^^
