Apothecary Skill 4 problem

Hi all.

So this is the problem: When i learned lvl 4 apothecary skill, i was 30/45 lvl 3. Now i have lvl 4 at 0% at the NPC, but i can't pick up the herbs needed to advance to lvl 5. Still - in my character skill window what i see is 30/45 lvl 4.

Does this mean that i have to buy all the herbs needed to advance to lvl 5 in order to pick up the high herbs? If so - why learning the lvl 4 was possible at all? I don't even want to think about the high herbs prices.

    Well you can buy them, but why bother? anything you can make with level 4 apothecary requires level 60 to use, you should have been able to note that by looking at the items you can make with level 4, and yeah all you really can do before 60 is either A. Help guildies/friends who are high enough to use it by making stuff for them if they gather the herbs, or B. bankrupt yourself buying herbs to make items that you can't use.

    Really though I find level 5 more obnoxious. You can get it pretty darn easily, you can use the items at 75... but you can't actually pick the herbs until 80.

    So basically - to pick up the herbs for the lvl 4 skil, i need to be lvl 60?
    That's weird b:laugh, but anyway i'm almost 60, so this situation suits me - i was more worried about picking herbs AT ALL as stated in the first post.

    Yeah herbs are all tiered into groups at what level you can pick them

    Level 5 apothecary you won't actually be able to use until after the expansion it appears, as none of those herbs are on the current map.

    Hi,
    I followed the link above and see the map associated with each herb. However the map for the level 5 herbs is obviously in a cave or another realm or some such thing. As I'm only level 60 so I haven't been to that other world yet. Can anyone tell me where it is? yeah, I know I wont be able to use level 5 pots (if they exist) until level 80.

    High herbs(req for lv4 apotheracy) are accesible at level 60 for the other herbs(lv5 & 6 apoteracy) its level 89+, where you unlock 2 new map of the game Sage/Demon World ;)
