Hello, 1 advice, use search function.

The best class? All classes are good.

Like the person above me said, use the search function and all classes are good. But I'll go into a bit more detail.

I advise reading up in each class's forum section and then make a character of each one. Play it for a bit, get a feel for it and then choose.

There is no "best class". This game is beautifully balanced. Therefore it comes down to your playing skills.

If you can't decide, try them all.
Whichever you feel you like the most, stick with it.

I started with an archer, got fairly bored of it, so I switched to a wizard.
Despite the fact everyones telling me wizards are horrible at duels and stuff I still stuck with it..
cause ultimately.... you're the one having fun here, so stick with whatever you like.

Yes as said read up in teh class section. IMO, I like teh DD casters (Veno, Archer, and Wiz) just because it is different from what I do in otehr MMORPGs. I also love the insane damage of my Veno and Wiz ^^ As always though it is all a matter of opinion and personal style and taste
Devilista lvl 19 Venomancer - Sanctuary
    DarkenRhal 1X Wizard - Sanctuary
    Daos 10 Archer - Sanctuary

If you truly love someone you will never do anything to hurt them, and you will always be there for them, whether it is just as a shoulder to cry on, or much much more.

Ultimatly it boils right down to your play style. If your a hard hitting tank type, I'd probably recomend a Barbarian (Blademasters can do it as well, but usually seem to work better as Melee damage dealers).

If you prefer hard hitting from a range, Archer or Wizard are you best bets. Archers are a bit more durable, but wizards dish out more damage.

If your a big fan of solo work, Venomancers are definatly the one to look at.

If you love group work and favor a support role, Cleric is going to be your best bet.

You can work most of the classes however you want, but the above seems to be the classes primary strengths and as such are the easiest to work with to build a functional character in addition to one you can have fun with.

I have to agree with Maal here!

all classes are very even, just depends on your play style.
