FB Questions

Hi all,
I have a couple of questions about FB's,
does the tablet holder have to be the one that deals the killing blow?
Also, one of my guildmates internet connection shut down in the middle of fb, he says he no longer has tablet, but was able to get credit for killing the undine mobs when we attempted it later. I think he tried going back and getting the tablet from the quest giver again, but i don't think it worked. Will he be able to complete it? If not, how can he get a new tablet?

    No, the tablet holder does not need to score the killing blow.

    The Tablet item is only there for a quest that automatically provides Experience upon killing the boss of an FB. You can not get the Tablet again if it's consumed. You can get the reward XP by working with other allies who have the same quest.

    There is a related but entirely unconnected quest that involves killing both normal enemies and (afterwards) the boss, but you do not need to do the Tablet quest to get that one done.

    Usually, if the quest is not finished and the party disbands, the tablet holder will get the tablet back in their inventory, allowing them to try again.

    Wrong. If the party disbands the quest will fail for everyone and you do not get a new tablet.
