    Well if you ask for male Venos you may as well ask for female Barbs. In anycase I really don't care, but there should be an option just cause

    I only choose fighter/tank as a male character, even if I'm a boy. I just don't like playing as a male when i'm a caster. It's just... I don't like how male casters look(kinda... u know :-j G word)
    Also untamed are pretty cool with their option of choosing sex being unavailable

    It's normally a pet peeve for me if classes aren't available to all genders, but in this case I think it works out well. I wish I knew more of Chinese mythology, but from what I've heard, I think the Untamed are based off of a race of demons obsessed with power. The males were huge and monstrous, and had great physical strength. The females looked nothing like the males, and were deceivingly beautiful, and had seducing power over the mind.

    Venomancers are supposed to be alluring deceivers, and I don't think that role fits the hulking males at all. And their women are much smaller, not built for taking severe punishment. By letting both genders take both roles, I think they'd loose a bit of what makes them unique.

    Mythology justification aside, does it really matter that much which gender you can play? It's just a game; it's not like you're getting a sex change. Just because it's the opposite gender you want doesn't mean you can't enjoy the game.
