Just curious which weapon(s) work the best for veno's

    obviously the best magical weapon you can lay your hands on XD

    that includes wands, magic swords, pakatas, and glaives.

    wands have the tightest min/max matk spread (ex. 200-205)
    swords have medium min/max matk spread (ex. 175-230)
    pakatas have large min/max matk spread (ex. 150-255)
    glaives have huge min/max matk spread (ex 120-285)

    it really doesn't matter what you choose.

    I agree with xLovex...
    Magic weapons are BEST for the Venomancer Class.

    furthermore a lot of your skills can't be used without a magic weapon.

    or, better worded, a weapon that doesn't have a magic attack attribute.

    i've read somewhere (i think cayeon's full attack priest guide) that a full dex bow veno can work well, if you like to use arrows...and...not your very powerful skills for some reason.

    Having played a huntress in World of Warcraft I can relate to a full dex/bow veno - an interesting translation of the concept and maybe worth a try although in all honesty it doesnt make much sense to do so.

    Well actually i use to play a hunter on WoW as well, and you need dex for bows. A venomancer doesnt use bows so..

    I think end game wise, magic swords or wands are pretty decent. Lots of people go glaives for the TT path because it is much cheaper than the magic swords. The heal for the pet is great and can be said to be more reliable when the damage is a high min and low max. It's more balanced that way instead of having a whole range.

    Basiaclly to sum this all up the weapon u use is to your prefferance what your use. Like me i use a Glaives i didnt actually pick it cause of attack or anything i choose it for stats and well partially cause i liked how it looked b:surrenderb:chuckle

    I always use patakas since I like the animations better and am a fan of staves.

    Just to add a bit. i would advise venos to Not use Patakas. The patakas have a lower attk rate of 1.00 / sec . This lowers ur attk speed in fox form. All other magic weps hve 1.25/sec attk rate. Well use pataka if u almost never use fox form attk.....but those who like fox form DDing dont use pataka as its effect is the opposite of -int gear.

    glaives and magic swords are best in my opinion.. giving you more versatility to use fox and human form equally. Patakas give too much differance between min and max dmg making some of your hit way too low and with bad luck you can get a few lows in a row. Wands have steady average dmg.. i never really thought it was good for low dmg spells that venos have.

    Can someone tell me WHERE or HOW to get weapons I have been trying very hard to get some new weapons but I dont know how or from where, Can someone help me pls b:sad I am still a noob in the game =3 b:surrender

    Well done re-necroing an old thread.

    You get weapons by doing quests (the supply stash, for example has some) or killing monsters and getting random drops, or crafting them yourself, or buy them (in the latter two cases, talk to the blacksmith in any town)

    How come no one has said the obvious rank9 pataka... That's the best weapon for venos.

    It lowers your melee atk speed: not just fox form. If you want melee aps: don't play veno. The rank patakas with their +patk are great for Fox skills like befuddling mist, and malefic crush which can be very useful in RB.

    Best magic weapons are usually MAGIC SWORDS...

    then patakas and glaives, all other fall low ...

    yes I also use a bow, when I get to kill a magic resistance mob, in low levels below lvl 40...

    and dex grants you some higher chances to a crit strike
