Logging issues / update - Client running

Facing the following problem :
I was booted from game, now i can't get logged in as the start button has been replaced by an update button and i'm getting the message :
Client running
Unable to proceed Update.b:shocked

At the time being client version patch 29 running, haven't heard yet about 30.

I already tried to modify the Upd Settings (i.e select server manually and resume unfinished
update ok, update auto no)to no avail. b:cry

Can't find any other solution by my own, any suggestion appreciated.b:cute
