The level requirements for the skills in the skill tree stand.

For manufacture skills, there is a percentage bar that fills up for everything you manufacture (Besides anything in the Mats, Shots, or fabric area). When that bar fills up, you can level up your manufacturing skill by talking to any elder.

I am still kind of confused by that, I got up the the level on the skill tree but didn't get the the skill... I somewhat understand the manufaturing/passive skills but can you explain the active more to me?

The Active/Passive skills for your class needs to be learnt from that Class Specific trainer.

Fo example, if you are an Archer , there will be Archer Trainers in every major City/Town. When you reach the respective level for a skill, you need to go talk to the trainer and learn the skills from them.

Just keep in mind, you will need Spirit points and Coins to learn the skills. Spirit is obtained by hunting monsters/doing quests.

Let me know if you need more explanation. ^_^

When you buy a new skill, it'll go to your Skill page ("R" key). Drag it from there to your hot bars to make it easier to use.

If you buy a higher rank in a skill you already own, it'll automatically replace the lower rank of the skill.
