Help PLZ!!! Character choice for 3ppl

We are friends who are looking to play together a lot so we wanted to choose classes that would make a strong PvE group. What would you guys recommend? Any help would be great.

    Barbarian as tank, Cleric for healing and a mage for damage. Works well together though for the first 20 lvls you will be working from different areas.

    Me and my 2 RL buddys created a 3 man team with a Barb, Cleric and a veno. works really well...we can take atleast 5 mobs from 5-8 lvls higher than the Barb. The Cleric isnt even up to our lvl. The Barb is 55, I am lvl 48, and the Cleric is only 35....we rock anything we come across. This combo is really good just for the fact that there is 4 people instead of 3...the main problem we run across is that we all run out of mana. And just for the record i am a full Int Veno.

    I believe a tanker, a DD (Damage Dealer), and a healer will be the best team...

    Tanker: Barb or Veno
    DD: Mage or Archer or BM
    Healer: Cleric

    actually if u wanted to u could choose all 3 of the same thing and make it work, but most efficient are tanker, damage dealer, and healer as said above. but u could have a
    1. clericand 2 damage dealers/ tankers (bm/barbs)
    2cleric and 2 wizards
    3. one of each race doesn't matter wat.
    4. a cleric and 2 any class
    5. or all the same class with good attks, if wizard your ganna need alot of good spells
    these are just possibilities, some may be recommended some may not. a tankers job is hard work cuz monsters usually go after highest damage dealers and tanker should be like the second one in that. i personally say it doesn't matter on the classes but best if u have 1 cleric u be set since each class got there own special skill so u can do your best since its pretty easy until later levels but with a cleric, that buddy ganna have a hard time leveling if they are not in a party. good luk.
