YET ANOTHER WEDDING RANT!

Ok I like the marrying system and all but why must it be like 60 dollars? You guys must be greedy or somthing. MAKE IT 10 DOLLARS INSTEAD!

Sounds more reasonable ehh?

    the Wedding gifts alone are worth $20 of the 60, you get gold, wine, candy, or invites
    you get clothes which you can keep or sell for a decent amount
    you get a system message of your marriage
    & you get the obvious name above your head

    what they might do is make a light pack that is just the name above your head and a deluxe that gives you everything else

    Your definition of reasonable may be very different from other people's definition of reasonable

    If marriage was $10, people would take it alot less seriously, and in rl marriage is pretty serious, so maybe thats the point, that at $60 you've got to be serious to do it.

    Whoa....
    As a total and complete noob to this game (started yesterday) I am learning things on these forums about how the world works. I'm amazed that it costs $60.00 to get married in this game, and $42.00 to get married in my home state. b:chuckle

    Crazy isn't it..... if you're gonna marry someone in this game you might as well marry them for real since you already have so much invested in them....lol, matter fact for that kinda money I'd expect them to hire an online preacher and put you up for the first night of your "honeymoon" in a cheap motel to make it official!b:chuckle

    b:chuckle couldnt agree with ya more there seeing as we are paying enough for it may as well get a damn honeymoon suite as well lets see fragrant hills seems a nice place rofl....sadly for me to get the wedding I have to pay $100 already tested it out for 30gold I have to pay $55 so a pretty damn expensive thing in my books I expect a 1 week honeymoon package including honeymoon suite with free martinis and tequila shots and a bar/club I can party all night at with my better half lol with 100k spending money rofl

    I feel it should be a bit cheapier like $30 over all, I am english and have a (not so great at the moment) exchange rate so its a lot cheaper for me but still seems expensive.

    My irl husband of 19 years and myself, have just recently found ths game, and we love it! We have spent 60$ so far on various items ingame already. We plan to marry ingame for a Christmas pressie, it will mark 20 years of being together. Yeah, it's a tad expensive for a game I s'pose, but the nametag is indefinate, and the silly pressies we might have gotten each other for that same price will wear out in time. If you're not an adult and are worried about the price, then don't do it. Simple. But for us adults who enjoy sharing what little free play time we might have together, it's well worth it, regardless of what else we may or may not get. Kinda adds a little more spark to the marriage.b:chuckle
    Yes, marriage is indeed a serious thing. Perhaps it may be cheap in the actual doing, but in the long term aspect, it's not. The rewards however, are worth more riches than one could imagine.b:heart

    You can always fork out $10 each, then make 2m ingame, which isn't hard if you are a couple and farm together. Marriage is a special thing, and the price of it will have to be at such levels for people to value it.

    White I do admit it is a bit much,I think both me and my girlfriend would probably use the marriage system if it was just a tad cheaper. Say 20$ per package instead of 30$,but that's just my opinion.

    Yeah... The marriage thing is a bit pricey in game in my opinion also.

    Hoever in real life can be priceless....here's how:

    12 pack of beer: $14.00

    Agreed... should definetly make it cheaper, but probably $30 is reasonable, since its marriage and should be taken serious...or other wise...everyone would get married, divorced, married, divorced...lol

    Unless they make it cheaper. i aint getting it^^
    i can go to the mall and buy me a few treats with that much money...lol
    why the hell someone would spend $60 in a game just to get married in a game..is out of my mind...
    especially with the Us economy so down, every little money here is something
