Camera follow mode?

Is there a way to have the camera follow me? In other words I would like it so I see my back side and everything infront of me or on the sides. Is this something that could be added? I know about the A+D keys but I really don't care for that. Could this be an option for future releases?

You can use F9 to setup the camera for certain shots.
You can use your middle mouse scroll wheel to zoom in or out to your character for first person or third person view.
You can press ALT+H to remove the game's UI for getting a nice view for screenshots or videos.
You can use the W A S D keys in combination with the right mouse button pressed and held down and move the mouse around for different views while moving.
Those are some options to experiment with.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

is there any way to get a 3rd person far veiw like "god" view. I used to play a game called conquer online and it uses a sort of high 3rd person view and you can see your surroundings 360 degrees. this would be a nice additon if its not already implementedI Believe Perfect World can be the best MMORPG in history... With a few upgrades. b:victory0

I was wondering this very question. It is quite difficult to move around and not have the camera follow you. I am used to WoW's Camera follow of characters. I would like it where when you move left, the camera follows you left continuing to follow your back. You move right, it follows right, etc. So it is always looking forward.
If that is available or implemented, it will make combat and simply gameplay much easier. Playing on a laptop using right click in conjunction with A,S,D,W is quite hard. (For me that is.)
Hopefully a 'follow camera mode' could be implemented.0 -
You can hold the right mouse button down and move the mouse left or right to look, and use the WASD keys to move, but that is about it. You can use the middle mouse scroll wheel to zoom in closer or further away to your character.
I use a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad to move and play most of the game, so it feels more like a console game.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Hmm...Do you think that this feature could be implemented? I mean, for Elves while in 'flight mode' has it where if you move left, the camera follows and so on, so it would make sense for walking? xD0

This game was originally made 4 years ago or so, so most hard-coded stuff that is not critical probably won't be addressed.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I'm not sure if you have this figured out yet or what exactly you're getting at..
But you want it so that the camera always faces the way your character is facing.. right?
Have you gone into the Game Options and checked the A,DKeys button? That makes it so the camera is always facing forwards. Or it did for me, anyways.
Sorry if this isn't what you were looking for.0 -
I get what is being asked here, but the answers are a bit underachieving. What is needed is that say you are in follow mode, and the leading character turns, you end up looking in the same nauticle diretions (E,W,N,S) and not in the direction of your leading character. A camera view, locked front-and-center on the character makes it so much easier for gameplay. Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful game, but there needs to be more adjustable attributes within the game settings. Modifiable settings make most truely popular MMORPG's stand out. What if I want to change my keyboard mappings, we can't currently. That should be changed. Also, get rid of the "click on the ground and move" function. That has to be one of the worst ideas in gaming. Say you're trying to target a skeleton, which doesn't have a large signature. You can easily click passed the mob and run right into it (which i have done on many occasions). Just a thought. I know!!! I need to post suggestions in another location, which I will do soon. Just wanted to express what some people are asking for. There is a reason why WoW, DAoC, and EQ are extremely popular. It's not just the game play, but being able to modify your settings to make it easiest for each and every person. "click-to-move" and "lean-forward-while-running" MMORPG's do not last long in the US. Not sure who started these fads, but they have to go.
Safe journeys all, and see you in-game.
