From swords to fists...

So, im a lvl 35 blademster and I've been reading up on fist BMs and i heard that end game they have the highest DPS in the game, but i've been reading here and it sounds like sword/blade BMs are MUCH better. From what i know, BMs are a DPS class, not a tanking class (off-tank yes) thus wouldn't they want to use fist to have the highest DPS? Also I read that BMs get more dodge per dex then an EA, BMs get 10 while EA get like 6 or 8. Also, because of the high dex, wouldn't crit rate be high? I already have a 4% crit rate.
Anyway, any experienced fist users help me out here?

My stats with all my gear are:
110 str, 65 dex, 25 vit, 5 mag.

Obviously I'm gonna pump my points into dex in order to wield my current weapon, and start making a 3 dex/2 con distribution because my str is high enough to wear my heavy armor and wield fists.

So, ya, what do you experienced fist BMs think?
Also, I plan on PvPing and PvEing (mainly FBs and HH, stuff like that, LvLing obviously)

    Yeah, your crit rate is gonna be pretty insane. That's one of the main reasons why your DPS is so damn high later on, the fact that you're going for a 10% crit rate.b:victory

    The armor thing... um, I know a lot of pros say that you should use heavy, but emphasis on the PROS part. I've known plenty of sucky fisties get owned by mages when they didn't have enough magic def. Going for heavy, you probably want plenty of Con. If you're just that good, go for the heavy. If you're willing to spend a bit more on pots, the light armor and high dodge rate will be fine. PvPwise, Heavy's better against other BMs and WBs, a bit better against archers, and average against venos. Light's good against clerics, mages, and venos.
